✝️ Bakit Hindi Holy Day of Obligation ang Ash Wednesday? ✝️

Isang seryosong paalala.
Isang mapagmahal na babala.

Tahimik ngunit malinaw ang mensahe ng abo:

“Alalahanin mong ikaw ay alabok.”
“Babalik ka rin sa alabok.”
“Maikli ang buhay.”
“Mahalaga ang kaluluwa mo.”
“Magbalik-loob ka.”
“Baguhin mo ang buhay mo.”
“Magsimula ka muli.”

Bagama’t hindi ito Holy Day of Obligation,
ito ay Holy Day of Decision.

Hi' I'm Ramgie "Ram" has significance in the Bible:

- It refers to a male sheep, often used as a sacrificial animal (e.g., in the story of Abraham and Isaac, where a ram was provided as a substitute sacrifice, Genesis 22:13).

- "Ram" is also used metaphorically to represent strength or leadership (e.g., in Daniel 8:3, where a ram symbolizes powerful kingdoms).

The suffix "gie" is not inherently biblical and may come from other linguistic or cultural origins (such as being a shortened form of names like Angelina or a variation in regional naming traditions).

Gigampanan kini.

💬 Ngano sa imong hunahuna nga ang Simbahang Katoliko kanunay nga gikritisar o gikalagutan karon?

IPADAYAG ANG IMONG KOMENTO,,,,

Inspiration!!!

From John Lennox's perspective as a Christian apologist:

1. "Light" is a reference to a common metaphor in Christianity, where light represents divine truth, God's existence, and the revelation of spiritual reality (most famously referenced in the Bible where Jesus describes himself as "the light of the world").
2. When he calls atheism a "fairy tale", he is arguing that he sees it as a belief system not grounded in what he considers to be observable truth or logical proof of God's non-existence.
3. By saying it is for those who "fear the light", he is suggesting that he believes people embrace atheism to avoid confronting what he views as the truth of God's existence, possibly because they do not wish to accept the moral accountability, spiritual obligations, or existential implications that he believes come with that truth.
