traces its roots to former members of the United Espiritista Cristiana, Inc. The events leading to its establishment were driven by internal conflict and a disputed leadership transition within the original organization. During the 34th General Assembly and Convention held on May 19, 2013, in Gov. Generoso, Davao Oriental, a new General President, Mr. Jose, was duly elected, along with seven (7) members of the General Board of Directors. However, the former General President, who lost his position in that election, convened a Special Assembly on July 27, 2013, without the approval of the General Board. In that unauthorized gathering, he reinstated himself as General President and appointed a new set of officers, claiming the previous election was invalid. This unilateral and irregular act caused confusion and division among the members of United Espiritista Cristiana, Inc. In response, more than three hundred (300) members who recognized the legitimacy of Mr. Jose’s election organized a Special General Assembly on August 17, 2013, in Tagum City, Davao del Norte. During that assembly, the members decided to separate from the original organization and established a new religious body named Church of Jesus Christ Lead by the Holy Spirit. The new religious organization was officially registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on October 8, 2013, under Registration No.
