Today, the darkness of the tomb gives way to the light of eternal life. The stone has been rolled away, and Christ, our Savior, is risen in glory! This is the day of all days, when sorrow turns into joy, mourning turns into dancing, and death is conquered by the power of love. What once seemed like the end is now revealed to be a beautiful beginning.

The resurrection of Jesus is not just a story it is our hope, our promise, and our victory.

Let us celebrate this day not only with songs and prayers, but with renewed hearts and a living faith. Just as the disciples were transformed by the empty tomb, may we, too, be transformed by the truth that nothing is impossible with God. Easter invites us to rise from our own tombs of fear, doubt, sin, and despair and walk in the light of the Risen Christ. Let this be the season where we choose love over hatred, mercy over judgment, and hope over fear.

To everyone, we proclaim: Happy Easter! May this joyful day fill your heart with peace, your soul with grace, and your life with unshakable hope. Christ is alive, and because of that, so are we. Alleluia

Black Saturday is the quiet in between. It is the stillness after death and before resurrection the day the world held its breath. The tomb is sealed. The disciples are scattered. Mary grieves in silence. It is a day of darkness, not because God is gone, but because we are called to wait in faith. This is the space where hope is tested when nothing seems to move, and yet God is still working in the unseen.

In our own lives, we live many Black Saturdays moments of waiting, grieving, and uncertainty. But just like that first Holy Saturday, these are not the end of the story. Even in silence, God is near. Even in darkness, the light is coming. Black Saturday teaches us that faith is not just believing in what we see , it's trusting in what God has promised, even when it feels like all is lost.

Let us honor this day with a deep observance of silence not as emptiness, but as sacred space where God quietly speaks to the heart.

When everyone else had fled, Mary remained. She stood at the foot of the Cross, watching her Son suffer in silence, her heart breaking with every cry, every wound, every drop of blood. She didnโ€™t try to stop the pain โ€” she couldnโ€™t. But she chose to stay, to accompany Him through His final agony with love that did not waver. Her presence didnโ€™t change the outcome, but it gave Jesus the comfort of a motherโ€™s love โ€” steady, strong, and silent.

In our lives, we are often called to stand with others in their suffering. Like Mary, we may not always be able to fix things, but our presence matters. Staying with someone in their pain โ€” in grief, confusion, failure, or fear โ€” is an act of love that echoes the faithfulness of Mary. Her witness reminds us: when love feels helpless, it is still holy. Staying, even in silence, is sometimes the loudest form of love.

Lord Jesus,
As Your Mother stayed by Your side till the end,
teach me to remain faithful, even when it is painful.
Give me the courage to stay with others in their suffering,
to love without running, and to be present like Mary.
May I learn from her silent strength and trust in You always.
Amen.

Good Friday is the most solemn day of Holy Week โ€” the day we remember the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ on the cross. It is a day without Mass, filled with silence, prayer, and reflection.

On this day, Jesus carried the weight of the worldโ€™s sin and gave His life out of love for all humanity. The cross, once a symbol of shame, becomes for us a symbol of sacrificial love and redemption. When we look at Jesus on the cross, we are reminded of how far love can go โ€” even to death โ€” to save, to forgive, and to heal.

In our daily lives, we may not be asked to give up our lives like Jesus, but we are often given small crosses to carry โ€” forgiving someone who hurt us, staying kind when we're misunderstood, or standing up for what is right even when itโ€™s unpopular. Maybe itโ€™s choosing not to clap back when someone is rude, or being patient with family even when weโ€™re stressed.

These moments are our own little Good Fridays. They hurt. They challenge us. But they also teach us what love really means: putting others first, even when it costs something.

At first glance, the cross looked like failure โ€” a painful end to a life of love and truth. But in God's divine plan, it was the greatest act of victory. On the hill of Calvary, Jesus took upon Himself the weight of our sins, choosing to suffer so that we might be saved. The cross, once a symbol of death, became the very instrument of eternal life.

This was not a loss, but love in its most powerful form. Through His sacrifice, Jesus defeated sin, shame, and death itself. What held Him on the cross wasnโ€™t just nails โ€” it was His love for you and me.

The cross is our reminder that even in our darkest moments, God can bring victory. We are not defeated; we are redeemed.

Maundy Thursday, also called Holy Thursday, marks the beginning of the Easter Triduum and commemorates the Last Supper of Jesus with His disciples. On this sacred night, Jesus instituted the Holy Eucharist, offering bread and wine as His Body and Blood โ€” a gift of His real and enduring presence. This moment reminds us of the importance of coming together in community, especially in the celebration of the Mass. Just as Jesus shared a meal with His closest friends, we are invited to recognize Him in the people we gather with โ€” our families, classmates, coworkers, and communities. Every time we attend Mass and receive the Eucharist, we are called to remember this sacred act of love and to live it out in our daily lives.

Jesus also did something unexpected during the Last Supper: He washed the feet of His disciples. This act of humility and service teaches us that true greatness is found in putting others first. Today, we can imitate this example in simple but meaningful ways โ€” like helping a struggling classmate understand a lesson, offering a listening ear to a friend, or choosing patience instead of anger at home. Even when no one notices, choosing to serve with love reflects the heart of Christ. Itโ€™s not always easy, especially when we feel tired, annoyed, or unappreciated โ€” but thatโ€™s where love becomes real: when it costs something.

As we reflect on Maundy Thursday, we are invited to ask ourselves some honest questions: Do I take the Eucharist for granted, or do I truly understand its meaning in my life? Am I willing to serve others, even when itโ€™s inconvenient? Do I love only when itโ€™s easy, or am I learning to love like Jesus โ€” humbly, completely, and without expecting anything in return? Whether itโ€™s by being more patient at home, more generous at school, or more forgiving in our friendships, Maundy Thursday calls us to remember that love is more than words โ€” itโ€™s action. And in choosing to love and serve, we become more like the One who gave everything for us.

This Holy Week, we invite you to pause, reflect, and journey with us through the "Siete Palabras Palabas"โ€”the Seven Last Words of Jesus on the Cross. Each word is not just a phrase spoken long ago, but a message of love, sacrifice, and redemption that continues to speak to our lives today.

As we remember Christโ€™s passion, let us open our hearts to the meaning behind His final wordsโ€”words that offer forgiveness to the sinner, hope to the hopeless, and love to all of humanity. In these sacred moments of reflection, may we encounter the depth of Godโ€™s mercy and the promise of new life.

We encourage everyoneโ€”families, friends, and communitiesโ€”to join us for this powerful and moving event. Whether youโ€™re seeking peace, healing, or simply a space to reconnect with your faith, the Siete Palabras is an opportunity to experience Godโ€™s presence in a deeply personal way.

Let this not be just another tradition, but a real moment of encounter. Watch with us, pray with us, and be reminded of the immeasurable love that was poured out for all.
