Today, we celebrate more than just another year of your life—we celebrate a life that is clearly aligned with God’s purpose. And what a beautiful season this is, as your birthday comes hand in hand with your journey as an ordained pastor. Truly, God’s timing is never random—it is always right, always intentional.

Those who know you well have seen the kind of leader and shepherd you are becoming. You are firm when it comes to what is written—never compromising, always holding the line when it comes to truth and order. A disciplinarian, yes—but not out of harshness, rather out of a deep desire for people to walk in what is right, relevant, and pleasing to God.

At the same time, you carry a heart that connects—especially with the youth. To many, you are more than a pastor; you are a kuya, a guide, someone who walks with them through the realities of Christian life. You correct, you encourage, and you journey with them—and that balance is a rare gift.

Through long, tiring, and often winding roads, our TEE students stood firm—steadfast in faith, resilient in challenges, and hopeful in spirit. Despite the odds, they pressed on and have now reached this meaningful milestone.

NDDC is truly thrilled and encouraged to see a strong number of CYF stepping forward to attend the VCS Teachers’ Training!

This is more than just participation—it is a powerful declaration that the next generation is choosing to rise, to serve, and to take part in shaping young lives through God’s Word.

We often hear the haunting line about “dusty Bibles,” a symbol of a faith left untouched and forgotten. But today, because of these committed young leaders, we boldly say: this will not be our story.

You have proven that age is never a limitation when it comes to being an effective church minister. At such a young age, you have already shown what it means to be an outstanding pastor—faithfully leading not just one, but three churches at the same time. And as if that were not enough, God has entrusted you with a new congregation to help organize. Truly, you are walking in the footsteps of the pastors of old—church planters who answered the call with courage and obedience.

Beyond the pulpit, you are equally inspiring as a mother. You manage to drive, care for your child, and still remain deeply committed to your calling as a shepherd. Balancing these responsibilities is never easy, especially with your husband being away for long periods as a seaman. Yet through it all, you continue with strength, grace, and unwavering faith.

People admire you not just for what you do, but for who you are. Your grounded personality, your calm spirit, and the quiet way you handle challenges speak volumes. You don’t need to be loud to lead powerfully—your life itself is a testimony.

ASSEMBLY Highlights

A large portion of the assembly is devoted to plenary sessions where the life and ministry of the conference are carefully discussed. Through the reports of the committees and the Church Related Organizations (CROs), delegates gain a fuller picture of the church’s ongoing mission, ministries, and fields of concern. These sessions become spaces for reflection, accountability, and shared discernment as the conference continues to strengthen its witness and service.

Another highlight that delegates look forward to is the food. Generously and abundantly prepared by the host church, the meals are served buffet-style, allowing everyone to freely take their fill. Delegates can be seen enjoying their meals anywhere within the church premises—under tents, in hallways, or gathered in small groups—turning every corner into a place of fellowship, laughter, and shared stories. And true to the warm hospitality of the host church, there is always more than enough for everyone.
