TODAY’S DEVOTION | “REST”

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 (KJV)

Jesus invites every tired and burdened soul to come near to Him and receive true rest.
In the middle of pressure, stress, and exhaustion, Christ brings peace, strength, and comfort to weary hearts.

Life’s struggles can leave people drained, discouraged, and overwhelmed. But Jesus lovingly calls us to lay down every burden at His feet.
When we trust Him, His peace refreshes our spirit and renews our strength.

Today, come boldly to Christ and allow His presence to fill your heart with rest, peace, and renewed hope. Hallelujah!

TODAY’S DEVOTION | “Trust God, Not People”

“Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.” Proverbs‬ ‭29‬:‭25‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Stop carrying the weight of other people’s opinions.
People’s thoughts change, misunderstandings happen, and human approval can never give the deep peace your soul is searching for.
If your life is centered on pleasing others, you can easily drift away from the path God designed for you.

Instead, focus your heart on God.
His voice matters more than the applause or criticism of people.

God sees every part of your story—your struggles, your growth, and the purpose He placed inside you.
While people may judge unfairly or change how they feel about you, God remains constant, faithful, and true.
Don’t allow rejection, comparison, or negative words to pull your attention away from His plan.

Keep trusting His guidance and continue walking boldly in the direction He leads.
When your heart stays anchored in God, He will give you peace in uncertainty, strength in difficulty, and clarity for the journey ahead.

DVBS 2026: DAY 1 🤍🌈📖

Every story taught, every activity prepared, and every little smile we see reminds us that planting seeds in young hearts for Jesus is always worth it. 🌱

We may only see crayons, coloring pages, and simple lessons today, but God is working in the lives of these children in ways far greater than we can imagine. May they grow up loving God, standing in truth, and shining His light wherever they go. ✨

The next generation matters. 🤍

TODAY’S DEVOTION | “The Battle Belongs to the Lord”

1 Samuel 17:47
“Then all this assembly shall know that Yahweh doesn’t save with sword and spear; for the battle is Yahweh’s, and He will give you into our hand.”

When David faced Goliath, others saw an undefeatable giant, but David saw the greatness and power of God.
He did not depend on human ability, weapons, or personal strength.
His confidence rested fully in the Lord.
What seemed impossible to man became a powerful display of God’s faithfulness and victory.

The same God who fought for David continues to fight for His people today.
No battle is too difficult for Him—whether you are facing fear, sickness, delay, opposition, anxiety, or discouragement.

Do not allow the size of your problem to weaken your faith.
Instead, fix your eyes on the greatness of your God.
Victory is not achieved by human strength alone, but through the power, presence, and faithfulness of the Lord.

Stand firm in faith.
Pray boldly with confidence.
Trust God without fear.

The battle belongs to the Lord, and He is more than able to bring you victory. Amen!

God, in His faithfulness, has called us into a deep and personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Our faith is not built on temporary emotions or changing circumstances, but on the unshakable truth of who Christ is.

Through fellowship with Him, we receive strength, wisdom, peace, and spiritual growth. The closer we walk with Christ, the more firmly rooted we become in faith and truth.

In a world filled with uncertainty, Christ remains constant and faithful. He is the firm foundation that sustains us through every season of life. When we stay connected to Him through prayer, His Word, and obedience, our faith grows stronger each day.

Stay rooted in Christ.
Remain faithful in fellowship with Him.

“You are blessed because you believed that the Lord would do what He said.” — Luke 1:45

Life does not always unfold according to our plans. There are moments when we pray and still wait, trust while struggling, and hope even when answers seem delayed. In those seasons, it can be easy to question whether God is still moving.

But faith is not about seeing the whole picture — it is about trusting the One who holds it together.

God sees every silent prayer, every hidden battle, and every tear shed in faith. Even when nothing seems to be changing, He is still working behind the scenes. His promises remain true, and His timing is never late.

Sometimes the waiting season is where God strengthens our faith, deepens our trust, and prepares us for the blessing ahead. What God has spoken over your life will not fail.

Keep believing.
Keep praying.
Keep trusting.

Your story is still unfolding, and God is faithful to complete what He started in you.

TODAY’S DEVOTION | The Blessings of Obedience

“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:” — Deuteronomy 28:1 (KJV)

Deuteronomy 28:1 teaches that when we faithfully listen to God and obey His commands, He lifts our lives according to His divine purpose and favor.

God honors a heart that walks in obedience.
When we follow His will, He guides us into peace, provides for our needs, and produces lasting spiritual blessings in our lives.

Obedience is not always comfortable or easy, but it leads us to God’s perfect plan.
His direction is wiser than our own understanding, and His ways always bring greater purpose and blessing.

Today, choose to obey God with faith and confidence, knowing that He will lead, sustain, and bless those who walk faithfully with Him.
