Today we celebrate the Feast of the Santo Niño, honoring Jesus Christ as the Holy Child. The Santo Niño de Cebu, brought by Magellan over 500 years ago, marks the beginning of Christianity in the Philippines and remains a powerful symbol of God’s presence and the deep devotion of the Filipino people.

The Scriptures chosen for this feast help us reflect on the identity and mission of the Holy Child. As Isaiah prophesied, “For a child is born to us,” pointing to the Messiah who came to the world as a child in Bethlehem.

Through centuries of trials, the Santo Niño has remained with the Filipino people. As God’s children, we are called to adore Him and follow His example of joyful obedience to the Father.

𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙗𝙚 𝙪𝙮, 𝙥𝙖𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙮 𝙣𝙖 𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙪𝙞𝙜, 𝙥𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙣 𝙜𝙞𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙗𝙞𝙨𝙮𝙤. 𝙒𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙮 𝙗𝙞𝙮𝙖-𝙖𝙮 𝙝𝙖! 🤍

As the year slowly comes to a close, it’s a gentle reminder that our journey of serving God doesn’t end here. Bisan pa sa kakapoy, challenges, ug bisan unsang kalisod, the heart that chooses to serve the Lord remains strong. Every prayer, every act of faith, every moment we dedicate ourselves to His glory leaves a mark that goes beyond what we can see.

Walay biya-ay ha! Let’s continue to stand together, to lift each other up, and to honor God in everything we do. Padayon ta, kalakbay, kay ang tinuod nga essence sa pagserbisyo sa Ginoo dili lang sa pagbuhat sa maayo, pero sa pag-apresyar ug pag-atiman sa matag usa sa ato, ug sa pagpadayon sa pagtuo bisan sa gagmayng butang. Rooted in faith and friendship, our Parish Youth Christmas Party and National Youth Day 2025 Celebration became a moment of true joy and belonging. We came together like one family, sharing laughter, prayers, and simple happiness that warmed our hearts. In those quiet and joyful moments, we felt how being rooted in Christ holds us together and reminds us that we are deeply loved.

Radiant with hope and love, the young church continues to move forward with courage and faith. We are never alone in this journey, we walk, serve, and grow side by side, carrying Christmas joy in our hearts and a mission to love and serve others. Ready to be light wherever we are sent, we choose to keep walking together.

As we end this year, we pause with grateful hearts for every memory, lesson, and blessing shared. We carry forward the friendships we built, the faith that strengthened us, and the hope that guides our steps into the coming year. May we remain rooted, radiant, and ready, continuing the journey together, hand in hand, wherever God leads us.

In the quiet home of Nazareth, love learned how to wait,
faith learned how to trust, and hearts learned how to stay.
Mary’s yes, Joseph’s steady hands, and Jesus’ gentle presence
teach us that holiness is born in ordinary days.

Today, we honor the beauty of family, not perfect, but faithful.
May our homes be places where love is spoken softly, forgiveness is given freely,
and God is welcomed in the simplest moments.
Like the Holy Family, may we grow together, held by grace and bound by love.
