Today, we thank the Lord for the blessing of your life and for His faithfulness through the years. As you celebrate this milestone, we pray that God will continue to grant you good health, wisdom, protection, and abundant blessings.

Even while working as an OFW seaman, you have remained a great support and encouragement to our church ministry. Your faithfulness, generosity, and heart for God’s work are truly appreciated and are a blessing to many.

May the Lord continue to guide you wherever He leads and use you even more for His honor and glory. We look forward to all that God has in store for you in the years ahead.

One of the sweetest moments from last Sunday was our Elementary Sunday School children presenting a special number by reciting Psalm 23 before the church.

It was a blessing to hear these young hearts confidently declare the comforting words of God’s Word. We thank the Lord for the opportunity to teach our children Scripture and hide His Word in their hearts while they are still young.

Thank you to all our dedicated teachers and parents for encouraging and preparing the children. May they continue to grow in their love for God and His Word.

Forgiveness is one of the greatest lessons we can learn from God’s Word. ❤️

Our Elementary Sunday School class learned about the importance of forgiveness and how God wants us to forgive others just as He has forgiven us. It was a meaningful lesson that encouraged our children to show kindness, love, and a forgiving heart in their daily lives.

Thank you, Teacher Jireh and Teacher Carlo, for faithfully teaching and guiding our young learners. May the seeds of God’s truth continue to grow in their hearts.

Children’s Sunday School | Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church Tagum

Today our children learned the lesson “King Ahaz: The King Who Chose the Wrong Path.” Through the life of King Ahaz, the children were reminded that our choices have consequences, and the wisest path is always to obey and trust God.

The kids enjoyed a coloring activity featuring a crumbling statue of King Ahaz, which helped illustrate how turning away from God leads to ruin, while following Him leads to blessing and stability.

A big thank you to Teacher Michelle and Teacher Michael for faithfully teaching God’s Word and making the lesson meaningful and engaging for our children.

We pray that each child will choose the right path by loving, trusting, and obeying the Lord every day. ❤️

What a blessing to visit the Diaz family today!

Originally from Bislig, they are now here in Tagum for work, and we thank the Lord that they have found Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church Tagum as their church home while they are here.

They have been faithfully attending our services over the past few weeks, and it has been a joy getting to know them better. We continue to pray for their family and ask the Lord to bless them as they settle into their new place and become more involved in the ministry.

Please join us in praying for their smooth transfer of membership anytime this month. May the Lord continue to guide and strengthen the Diaz family as they grow in grace and in their walk with Him.

We are grateful that God continues to bring families together in His church.

Today, we thank the Lord for the beautiful testimony of your marriage and for His faithfulness throughout these 36 wonderful years. Your love, commitment, and unwavering service to the Lord have been a blessing and an inspiration to our church family and to many lives.

“Bow the Knee”

Our hearts were truly blessed by last Sunday’s choir special as they sang “Bow the Knee.” The message of the song is a powerful reminder that no matter what we face in life, our greatest response is to humbly bow before our Almighty God.

May we continually surrender our burdens, fears, and plans to the Lord, trusting that He is always in control and worthy of our worship.

Thank you to our choir for using your voices to glorify God and encourage His people through music.

What a powerful reminder that our lives are no longer our own when we belong to Christ. As believers, we are under new management—the lordship of Jesus Christ.

I. God's Right of Ownership

🔹 We Are Purchased Possession
Jesus paid the ultimate price through His sacrifice on the cross. We have been redeemed and now belong to Him.

🔹 We Are Preserved Possession
God not only saves us but faithfully keeps and sustains us by His grace. We are secure in His loving care.

🔹 We Are Prized Possession
We are treasured by God. He values us deeply and has set us apart for His purpose and glory.

📖 "You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." — 1 Corinthians 6:19–20

May this message remind us to joyfully live under the authority of our Savior, knowing we are purchased, preserved, and prized by our Heavenly Father.
