“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

Isaiah 41:10 is a great example of the encouragement found within the book of Isaiah. The book of Isaiah is filled with so many countless encouraging verses, which all reflect on the power and love and providence of our Lord God.

In verse 10, there are several layers and parts that stand out to me, and that provide reassurance, hope, strength, and peace:
“Fear not, for I am with you”: God is always with us. He is with you, day and night, no matter what you’re going through. That’s a promise! I love in the first part of verse 10 how we are commanded to “Fear not,” because God is with us. What a promise! What an encouragement! We have no reason to fear, because God is with us.

“Be not dismayed, for I am your God”: Dismay is another word for distress, usually instigated by something unexpected. In Isaiah 41:10, we are encouraged to be not dismayed. Why? “for I am your God”. We serve the Living Christ, Who conquered death for us, so there is no reason to be dismayed. This is something I need to constantly remind myself of, especially when life throws curve balls my way.
“I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you”: God promises to provide us with strength, and with help. When you’re feeling like you can’t go on or you just don’t know how you’re going to get through the day, God will be right with you to provide you with the strength and help you need, to get through whatever you’re facing.

“I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”: God promises to uphold us. More than that, He promises to uphold us with His righteous right hand. That means, when you lose your footing, He’s going to be there to hold you up, if you’ll trust in Him. What I love about this verse, is that we are told God will uphold us with His righteous right hand. Righteous: Pure, virtuous, upstanding, ethical, honest. Regardless of your circumstances, God is righteous. And He will uphold you with His right hand. His right hand! Throughout scripture, God’s right hand is mentioned several times. Historically, to be put on someone’s right hand is to be held in equal honour. God’s right hand also symbolizes His power and His greatness.

Whatever you’re facing this week, remember Isaiah 41:10 and claim it for yourself!

Godbless you!🔥

'' Where the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty.'' 2 Corinthians 3: 17

The Holy Spirit will remove your shackles & set you free so that you can grow freely & joyfully & reach your peak. The Holy spirit can come and live within you & me. The Holy spirit is our key who opens the steps in which we need to go.He is the one who guides us step by step. The Holy spirit is Jesus Christ.

John 11:35
"Jesus wept.”

Of all the short Bible verses, this is the shortest. And what a great thing to know! Jesus showed emotion just like we do. He wasn’t a mechanical robot disinterested in the lives of people. Jesus cared for others and empathized with their pain. He understood what it meant to be sad and expressed those emotions himself. In this instance, he was sad over the death of his close friend Lazarus, the brother of Mary and Martha. 🌼

Worth to remind yourself ❤️

Worth to remind yourself ❤️

Have you ever paused in the middle of praying because you suddenly feel shy and intimidated to God thinking you’re about to pray a “vain thing”?
When I say “vain”, I mean those things that are trivial, things that seemingly don’t matter much to God. There was this one time when I was sobbing in tears, mumbling things to Him as I used to a best friend, when I suddenly paused in wonder,
“Does this little thing really matter to You Lord?”
Are you getting me?

I’m not sure if you can relate with this but sometimes we all have this wrong impression about God especially of how He responds to His child. We sometimes think of Him as a stern Father who cannot go down to the level of His teenage children. We think of Him as someone so strict and tough, that you should always behave like a queen who’s not allowed to act or talk like a normal person. Like, He won’t give any attention to those little things that matter much to you because He is so busy with other more important matters. He is more attentive to the prayers of those who are in great danger or distress, or those who are at the stake of fighting for their last breath, and other more urgent prayers. I oftentimes feel intimidated ending up pulling out my words from Him like a child taking back a gift she once gave to her playmate. I’m not sure. And I know, that moment, I’ve hurt Him, my Father whom I always misjudge.
Until one time, I happen to read these verses and realize how doubtful of a child I am:
“But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.” – Luke 12:7

Then I thought, if the number of my hairs, which is likely to be insignificant to me compared to how I value my heart, or hands, or eyes, matter to Him, then how could I ever accuse Him of being this stern Father who doesn’t know how to listen to His children’s little stuff? And that moment, I asked forgiveness for judging Him wrong. From that moment on, I have this confidence to tell Him everything, anything! Because like a best friend, as He really is to me, I am now confident that even the little matters in my life matter to God.
