Eid Mubarak! 🌙✨

Almighty. You allowed us to witness this blessed month; please accept every fast, every prayer, every tear, and every silent supplication.
If we fell short, forgive us.
If we were sincere, multiply it for us.
If we were weak, strengthen us.
Keep the light of Ramadan, its discipline & mercy alive in our hearts.

May this joyous occasion of Eid al-Fitr bring you and your loved ones peace, happiness, and prosperity. May your prayers be accepted, your heart be filled with gratitude, and your home be blessed with warmth and togetherness.

Wishing you a day full of love, delicious feasts, and beautiful moments with family and friends. Aameen.

Here is a summary of important Sunnah acts and reminders before heading to the Eid prayer (both Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha)

based on traditional Islamic teachings:

1. Spiritual & Obligatory Acts
Give Zakat al-Fitr: Ensure Zakat al-Fitr (Fitrana) is paid before the Eid prayer so the needy can enjoy the day

Take a Ghusl (Ritual Bath): It is Sunnah to perform a full, cleansing bath before leaving for the prayer

Recite Takbir: Engage in reciting the Takbir loudly (men) or softly (women) from the night before and while walking to the Eid prayer:

"Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illallah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa lillahil hamd."

2. Before Leaving the House
Wear Your Best Clothes: Adorn yourself in clean, nice clothing to show gratitude for Allah's blessings.
Apply Perfume: Men are encouraged to apply perfume/fragrance.
Eat Something (Eid al-Fitr vs. Eid al-Adha):
Eid al-Fitr: It is Sunnah to eat an odd number of dates or something sweet before leaving for the prayer

Eid al-Adha: It is Sunnah to wait and eat after returning, ideally from the meat of the sacrifice.

Go Early: Make an effort to reach the prayer ground early.

3. During and After the Prayer
Go by One Path, Return by Another: The Prophet ﷺ used to walk to the Eid prayer by one route and return home using a different route.
Listen to the Khutbah: It is highly recommended to stay and listen to the Eid sermon after the prayer

Exchange Greetings: Greet others with "Taqabbal Allahu Minna wa Minkum" (May Allah accept [good deeds] from us and from you).

4. General Reminders
Do Not Fast: Fasting on the day of Eid is forbidden (Haram).

Show Joy and Generosity: Visit family, friends, and neighbors, and be extra generous to the poor and needy.

Maintain Modesty: While wearing your best, ensure clothing remains within Islamic etiquette
