[Advisory 2026-037] In view of Memorandum Circular No. 135 issued by the Office of the President and in response to the inclement weather caused by the enhanced Southwest Monsoon, the University of Makati announces the following guidelines for today, September 10, 2026.

1. All classes across all levels will transition to online synchronous modality.

2. For students with RLE and internship, please note that your attendance will depend on the guidelines and operational status of your respective Host Training Establishments.

3. Administrative offices will operate under an alternative work arrangement.

[Advisory 2026-031] Effective immediately, students without physical UMak ID must enter at UMak Gate 7 from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, and must present a hard copy of their Certificate of Registration (COR) along with any valid government-issued ID or old school ID.

Students with physical UMak IDs may use the facial recognition device and RFID readers available at designated entry areas for a faster entry experience.

Meanwhile, those who have not yet claimed their physical ID are advised to proceed to the Center for Information Technology (CIT) as soon as possible, while those who lost their ID must prepare a notarized Affidavit of Loss before coordinating with CIT for an ID-capturing schedule.

The University of Makati is continuously working to make the entry process as smooth and convenient as possible for everyone, while ensuring that heightened security measures remain strictly in place for the safety and well-being of every member of the UMak community.

In case you observe or notice anything unusual, please report it to the nearest security guard or to the Occupational Health and Safety Office.

1. All classes across all levels will continue to be conducted via online synchronous modality.

2. For students with RLE and Internship, please note that your attendance will depend on the guidelines and operational status of your respective Host Training Establishments.

3. Administrative offices will operate under an alternative work arrangement. However, unit heads may deploy a skeletal workforce or allow personnel with urgent deliverables to report on campus as needed.

Personnel reporting on-site must coordinate with the Human Resource Management Office, and those who need transportation assistance are advised to coordinate directly with the Transport Services Unit.
