Jealousy and self-centeredness can control people.

They create conflict and division.

They destroy peace.

They open the door to many other sins.

They produce spiritual chaos rather than spiritual growth.

When people are motivated by jealousy and self-promotion, things fall apart spiritually and relationally. But when they are guided by God’s wisdom, peace and righteousness grow instead.

God doesn’t always remove the hard situation right away because the struggle itself is shaping who you’re becoming. Instead of just rescuing you from something, He’s working in you—building faith, patience, strength, humility, or trust that couldn’t develop the same way without the challenge.

In Philippians 1:6 - God started a good work in you, and He hasn’t abandoned it. Even when life feels stalled or painful, there’s still progress happening beneath the surface.

Your struggle isn’t pointless
You’re not forgotten
The process is part of the purpose
This is hard, but it’s not wasted♥︎

The danger of worry is not that it asks questions, it’s that it forgets history. It speaks as though this situation is new to God, as though He has never handled complexity, loss, delay, or uncertainty before.

But your own story says otherwise. Your life carries proof that God does not abandon His people in their weakest moments. He meets them there.

The same God who carried you through then has not changed now.

He is not less powerful because the problem looks different. He is not less present because the answer feels delayed. He is not less faithful because the road feels heavier. What sustained you before is still available to you now even if it looks unfamiliar.

If He was faithful in the past, He is faithful in the present.

Trust is choosing to remember when fear tries to erase the evidence. Trust is standing in today’s uncertainty with yesterday’s testimony in your hands.

This moment does not cancel what God has already proven. And what He has done before is not the limit of what He can do again.

A disciple is not merely someone who agrees with Jesus’ teachings, but someone who follows Him closely—spending time with Him through prayer, reading Scripture, reflection, worship, and obedience.

Your relationship with Him grows through time and attention, and spiritual growth happens by being present with Christ and learning His character, values, and way of life.
