READ: Cardinal Jose Advincula has suspended Fr. Alfonso Valeza from all priestly activities “because of his persistent defiance” of the Manila archbishop. “He is therefore prohibited from administering the sacraments. Any sacrament he administers is illicit,” said the archdiocese.

Cardinal Advincula also took charge of the administration of St. Joseph Parish in Gagalangin, Tondo, Manila, where Fr. Valeza was serving, and assigned a new team ministry led by Fr. Reginald Malicdem, the archdiocese’s vicar general.

BREAKING NEWS: Pope Francis just promulgated 8 Decrees one of which is the Decree for the Miracle attributed to Bl. Carlo Acutis which means he is now cleared for Canonization.

The date for the Canonization of Bl. Carlo Acutis along with several Blesseds will be determined in a Consistory sometime in a future.

The other Decrees that were promulgated are the following
- Miracle attributed to Bl. Giuseppe Allamano
- the miracle attributed to Venerable Giovanni Merlini;
- the martyrdom of the Servant of God Stanislaus Kostka Streich;
- the martyrdom of the Servant of God Maria Maddalena Bódi;
- the heroic virtues of the Servant of God Guglielmo Gattiani;
- the heroic virtues of the Servant of God Ismaele Molinero Novillo;
- the heroic virtues of the Servant of God Enrico Medi

Furthermore, the Supreme Pontiff approved the favorable votes of the Ordinary Session of the Cardinal Fathers and Bishops for the canonization of the Blessed Emanuele Ruiz and 7 Companions, of the Order of Friars Minor, and Francis, Abdel Mooti and Raffaele Massabki, Lay Faithful, killed in hatred of the Faith in Damascus (Syria) between 9 and 10 July 1860, and decided to convene a Consistory, which will also concern the canonization of the Blesseds Giuseppe Allamano, Marie-Léonie Paradis, Elena Guerra and Carlo Acutis.
