God is not impressed by our beautiful "yes" if we don't live it. What matters is not our promise, but our conversion — our doing.

For us as a choir, this hits home: It’s easy to say "Yes, I will serve" — but to arrive on time for practice, to forgive a co-member, to sing even when we are not assigned as lead, to serve with humility even when tired... THAT is the real "yes" God is asking.

Today, let us not be the choir that only sings "I will serve you, Lord" but does not live it. Let us be the choir that sometimes fails, says no out of weakness, but repents, returns, and serves again with love.

God does not need perfect voices. He needs obedient and humble hearts.

Lord, teach us to do Your will not only with our lips but with our lives. Remember Your mercies, O Lord, and guide our steps in Your way. Amen.

“God's generosity is not our calculation.”

This is the beautiful reminder of Isaiah today: "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord."

We often measure in terms of seniority, effort, and fairness. Who served longer, who sang more, who sacrificed more. But God does not measure like we do. He looks at the heart. Whether you joined the choir last week or have been serving for 10 years, whether you are a soloist or the one who quietly arranges the chairs — in God's eyes, we are all equally loved, equally called.

As a choir, this is a call to humility and joy. Let us not compare. Let us not be envious of roles or recognition. Instead, let us rejoice that we are all invited to work in His vineyard, to sing for His glory. Our reward is not applause — it is the grace to serve Him.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for calling us, no matter how early or late, to sing in your vineyard. Free our hearts from envy and comparison. May we serve with joy, knowing Your generosity is enough for all of us. Amen.

Jesus journeyed from one town and village to another, preaching and proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom of God. Forgiving as we have been forgiven.

As a choir, this speaks to us deeply. We don't just sing together — we serve together. There are times we get hurt, misunderstood, or offended within the ministry. But how can we sing about God's mercy if we keep anger in our hearts?

St. Paul reminds us today, "Whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord." We are one body. When we forgive, we keep our choir and our community in harmony — not just in music, but in heart.

Forgiveness does not mean the hurt was not real. It means we choose to free our hearts from resentment, just as God frees us.

We pray: Lord, teach us to forgive from the heart, 70 times 7 times, as You have forgiven us. Amen.

Many times, we remain silent when we see our earth being hurt — plastic thrown anywhere, trees cut without reason, wastefulness. Loving creation means having the courage to correct with love, just as Jesus teaches us today.

And St. Paul reminds us: "Love is the fulfillment of the law." (Romans 13:10)

As a choir, when we sing "where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in their midst," we are reminded that Christ is present not only in our harmony, but in the air we breathe, the earth we stand on, and the community we serve.

Let our singing today be our way of caring:
Caring for each other with honest, kind words.
Caring for creation with small, loving actions.
