โOne prayer, one belief, one heart, one faith to start.โ On August 21, 2026, St. John of the Cross Parish a place where young hearts gathered not only to pray, but also to share, reflect, and grow together in faith, guided by the Mother Mary.
The Cenacle was organized by the Marian Movement Priest, bringing people together with one purpose, to strengthen their faith in God and deepen their devotion to Mother Mary. Through rosary, prayers, and moments of silence, the youth were given time to pause, reflect, think, pondering, and look deeper into the passage.
As the gathering continued, the youth had the opportunity to share their thoughts regarding the page opened in the blue book, experiences, and reflections with one another. Their stories became a bridge to connect the blue book with their own experience, on how Mother Mary guide them while walking at that path, reminding everyone that they were not alone in their journey of faith. Through sharing, they understood, through listening, they grew, through unity, their faith continued to glow.
Mother Mary also served as an example and guide throughout the gathering. Her life of faith, humility, and trust in God reminded the youth to remain faithful even when faced with challenges. Her example encouraged them to bring the lessons of the Cenacle beyond the parish and into their everyday lives.
More than a simple gathering, the Cenacle became an experience that influenced the youth to become more prayerful, reflective, and connected with one another. It showed them that faith is not only something to believe, but something to live, share, and carry wherever they go.
Even amidst waves of fear,
I remain undaunted, for you are there
Through the storms of sorrow
And the darkness of the night.
Mary, in every heart,
You are a star of the heavens,
Your radiance never fades,
Beloved Mother, cherished Mother.
