โ€œProclaim the Gospel with faith and courage.โ€

Today (May 27, 2026), we honor St. Augustine of Canterbury, a faithful missionary and bishop whose dedication and obedience helped bring the Christian faith to the people of England.

Sent by Pope St. Gregory the Great, St. Augustine courageously journeyed to unfamiliar lands to proclaim the Gospel and lead others closer to Christ. Despite challenges and uncertainties, he trusted fully in Godโ€™s guidance and faithfully carried out the mission entrusted to him.

Through his humility, perseverance, and zeal for evangelization, many came to know and embrace the Christian faith. His life reminds us that the mission of the Church continues today through every believer who courageously shares Godโ€™s love through words, actions, and witness.

In a world where faith can sometimes be difficult to live out openly, St. Augustine of Canterbury inspires us to remain steadfast in our calling as disciples of Christ. He teaches us that even small acts of faithfulness can become instruments through which God touches the hearts of many.

May his example encourage us to proclaim the Gospel with courage, serve the Church with humility, and trust always in Godโ€™s plan for our lives.

Let us now pray:

O God,
who called St. Augustine of Canterbury
to proclaim the Gospel to many nations,
grant us, we pray, the courage to live and share our faith with love, humility, and perseverance.

Strengthen Your Church,
guide all missionaries and servants of the Gospel, and help us to become faithful witnesses of Christ in our daily lives.

Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

St. Augustine of Canterbury, pray for us. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Last Sunday (May 24, 2026), our parish community gathered in joyful celebration of Pentecost Sunday, the day the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles, filling them with courage, wisdom, and unwavering faith. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

It was a grace-filled moment for the Church as we remembered the birth of its mission in the world, and we continue to give thanks for the Spirit who remains alive and active in our lives today. Through every prayer offered and every Mass celebrated, we were reminded that Godโ€™s Spirit continues to strengthen, guide, and renew His people.

As we reflect on this celebration, may we remain open to the promptings of the Holy Spirit and allow Him to transform our hearts so that we may become instruments of love, peace, and service to others. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ™

Come, Holy Spirit, and renew the face of the earth. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Last Saturday (May 23, 2026), we gathered not just for a program, but for a powerful encounter with the living God.

Youth on Fire 2026 became a grace-filled night of worship where hearts were lifted, faith was deepened, and lives were renewed by the presence of the Holy Spirit. From beginning to end, every moment pointed to one truth: God is alive and actively moving among His people.

Through songs of praise, joyful celebration, testimonies of faith, prayerful reflection, and the proclamation of Godโ€™s Word, the entire evening became one continuous experience of grace. Every voice lifted, every hand raised, and every heart surrendered became part of a living testimony of Godโ€™s faithfulness.

With deep gratitude, we honor all who made this sacred gathering possible.

Our heartfelt thanks to our beloved parish priest, Rev. Fr. Clarito โ€œCharlieโ€ M. Jundis, and to our Parish Parochial Vicar, Rev. Fr. Jaime โ€œJayjayโ€ Bautista, for their spiritual guidance, inspiring messages, and presence that anchored the entire celebration in faith.

We also express sincere appreciation to Bro. Leonell Carunungan and Sis. Emma Mayandia for their leadership, dedication, and commitment in bringing this vision to life.

To the PCM Choir, PCM Animators, Los Jovenes Choir, El Shaddai Choir and Band, thank you for leading the community into worship through your voices, talents, and joyful service.

To the testimony shared by Sis. Christine Joyce Pelayo, thank you for your courage in witnessing Godโ€™s faithfulness through your life and ministry.

To the Education Ministry, Sis. Corazon Detoyato, sound and lights team, stage managers, technical crew, ushers, coordinators, ministry heads, and all volunteers, thank you for your faithful service, seen and unseen, that made everything possible and orderly.

To Sis. Marianne Jubilee Mondejar, our host for the night, thank you for bringing life, energy, and grace to the program and for guiding the flow of the evening with excellence.

To our sponsors, benefactors, families, and supporters, thank you for your generosity and encouragement that helped bring this event to life.

And to every person who came, prayed, sang, worshipped, listened, and journeyed with us, thank you. You were not just attendees, but living witnesses of faith, unity, and fire.

As we continue beyond this Pentecost season, may the fire that was ignited in our hearts never fade, but grow into deeper prayer, stronger faith, and bolder service to the Lord.

Because Youth on Fire 2026 leaves us with one unchanging truth:

๐Ÿ”ฅ God is alive and present.
๐Ÿ”ฅ The Church is alive.
๐Ÿ”ฅ And the Holy Spirit continues to set His people on fire.

God bless everyone and keep the fire burning. โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ

โ€œRejoice in the Lord always.โ€

Today (May 26, 2026), we honor St. Philip Neri, a joyful and humble priest known as the โ€œApostle of Rome,โ€ whose life radiated holiness through simplicity, prayer, and Christian joy.

St. Philip Neri dedicated his life to bringing souls closer to God through gentle guidance, humor, and deep spiritual wisdom. He believed that joy is a powerful expression of faith, and that a heart filled with love for God naturally overflows with peace and gladness.

Despite his deep spiritual life, St. Philip remained approachable and joyful, especially to the youth and the poor. He taught that holiness does not require perfection in appearance or status, but a sincere and loving heart fully surrendered to God.

In a world often marked by stress, pressure, and discouragement, St. Philip Neri reminds us that true joy is found in God alone. His life encourages us to live with lightness of spirit, kindness toward others, and a deep love for prayer and the sacraments.

May his example inspire us to live joyfully in faith, to serve God with a cheerful heart, and to bring hope and encouragement to those around us.

Let us now pray:

O God,
who made St. Philip Neri
a joyful servant of Your love,
grant us, we pray,
that we may always seek You with glad hearts,
and serve You with sincere joy and humility.

Help us to share Your love
through kindness, laughter, and faith.

Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

St. Philip Neri, pray for us. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ
