On this National Baptist Day, we remember that our faith is meant to be shared and lived in community. As it is written in 𝘙𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴 12:5 𝘒𝘑𝘝 – “𝘚𝘰 𝘸𝘦, 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺, 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳.” Each of us has a place and a purpose, called to serve with humility, love, and faithfulness. May this day lead us to reflect on our unity in Christ and encourage us to live out our faith through service, compassion, and obedience to God’s will in our daily lives.
