โ€œLord, increase our faith!โ€ โ€” Luke 17:5

The apostles had already seen miracles, yet they still asked Jesus to increase their faith. Why? Because walking with God doesnโ€™t make us challenge-proof. Sometimes, God even allows circumstances that reveal where our faith still needs to grow.

Hebrews 11 reminds us that faith starts with God. Hindi dahil sobrang confident natin, but because our confidence is placed in Someone trustworthy.

You may feel like your faith is small today. Thatโ€™s okay.
Di bale nang maliit ang faith mo, basta nakakapit ka sa malaking Diyos.

Come to God.
Seek Him wholeheartedly.
Put your hope in Him.

Because God does not lie, forget, or fail to fulfill what He has promised.

Today, we celebrate not only your life, but also the impact you continue to make as a father, mentor, and pastor.

Thank you for faithfully leading, teaching, encouraging, and pointing us back to Christ. Your life and ministry have become a blessing to many, and we are grateful for the wisdom, love, and faith you continue to share.

May the Lord continue to strengthen you, refresh you, and bless you with greater grace, wisdom, and joy as you continue to fulfill the calling He has entrusted to you.

Sa PAMANA Sunday Celebration in Cavite, we gathered to hear stories of His grace, meet new friends, and share the hope that comes from the Lord.

One of the highlights was the testimony of the Lamadrid family, a beautiful reminder that true transformation begins when we encounter Christ. He restores what is broken, teaches us to forgive, changes hearts, and gives families a new direction.

Because the greatest PAMANA we can pass on is not simply what we own, but a life that points the next generation to Jesus.

We were also blessed by our friends from Pasay, who rendered โ€œUmagang Kay Gandaโ€ during the intermission. ๐ŸŽถ What a joyful time of fellowship and celebration!

More than the program, we praise God for every new friendship, every conversation, and every opportunity to share Jesus. Our prayer is that people would not simply remember PAMANA, but that they would know Jesus, follow Him, and one day lead others to Him too.

As Psalm 78:4 reminds us:

Thank You, Jesus, for every family, friend, volunteer, and first-time guest who joined us. May our homes and our lives continue to tell the next generation of who You are and what You have done.

Sa gitna ng sakit, kawalan, at mga balitang mahirap unawain, maaaring naitanong na rin natin ito.

This Sunday, Bishop Jon Espanola preached โ€œWhy Doesnโ€™t God Just Stop It?โ€ and brought us back to a truth we can hold on to: Godโ€™s patience does not mean He approves of evil. His patience gives us time to repent.

โ€œThe Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.โ€
โ€” 2 Peter 3:9 NIV

We reflected on three ways evil and suffering affect our world:

โ–ช๏ธ Through human sin. Our choices carry consequences. Ang kasalanan ay hindi lang personal; maaari itong makasakit ng pamilya, komunidad, at maging ng susunod na henerasyon.

โ–ช๏ธ Through demonic forces. The spiritual battle is real. God calls us to stay alert, stand firm in His truth, and remember that people are not our ultimate enemy.

โ–ช๏ธ Through a fallen creation. Sickness, disasters, and death remind us that our world is groaning for restoration. Hindi lahat ng paghihirap ay resulta ng personal na kasalanan ng taong nakararanas nito.

God takes our choices seriously and calls us to choose life. Yet even amid the consequences of sin and the brokenness of this world, He remains at work. Hindi mabuti ang lahat ng nangyayari, pero kayang gumawa ng Diyos ng mabuti sa gitna nito. His promise in Romans 8:28 gives us hope without dismissing our pain.

And evil will not have the final word. God sees injustice, will judge wickedness, and will bring His purposes to fulfillment.

Our deepest assurance is found at the cross:

JESUS DID NOT WATCH EVIL FROM A DISTANCE. HE WALKED THROUGH IT. AND ON THE CROSS, HE DID NOT JUST FEEL OUR PAIN. HE PAID OUR PENALTY.

Hindi malayo ang Diyos sa ating pagdurusa. Through Jesus, He entered our suffering and opened the way for forgiveness and reconciliation with Him.

Habang hinihintay natin ang ganap na pagpapanumbalik ng lahat, may tugon tayong magagawa ngayon: talikuran ang kasalanan, piliin ang mabuti, at manatiling tapat kay Cristo.

His patience is an invitation. How will we respond?

Mangarap ng pamilyang mas buo.
Mangarap ng relasyon na may kapatawaran.
Mangarap ng tahanang may pananampalataya.
Mangarap na ang mga susunod sa atin ay makatanggap ng mas magandang PAMANA.

Hindi natin kontrolado lahat ng natanggap natin mula sa nakaraan. Pero with God, may pagkakataon tayong pumili kung ano ang ipapasa natin sa susunod na generation.

This Sunday, sama-sama tayong makinig sa real stories, magkaroon ng meaningful family conversations, worship God, and believe again that something better can begin with us.
