Today, we honor the life of Ma’am Joan, a loving teacher and a faithful catechist whose life was a true testament of service, kindness, and faith.

Ma’am Joan was more than an educator. She was a guide, a mentor, and to many of us, a second mother. In her classroom, she taught not only lessons from books, but lessons of patience, compassion, and respect. She believed in her students, encouraged them, and always led with a gentle heart.

As a catechist, Ma’am Joan served the Lord with humility and dedication. She shared the Word of God not only through her teachings, but through the way she lived her life. Her faith was reflected in her actions—simple, sincere, and full of love. Through her guidance, many were brought closer to God and learned the true meaning of Christian living.

Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in our faith. We believe that Ma’am Joan has now returned to our Creator, welcomed into His loving embrace. As Scripture tells us, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Her life of service and love is a beautiful offering to God.

Ma’am Joan’s legacy will continue to live on in the lives she touched, the values she instilled, and the faith she nurtured in so many hearts. We honor her memory by living the lessons she taught—by choosing kindness, by serving others, and by trusting in God’s plan.

We thank the Lord for the gift of Ma’am Joan’s life. May perpetual light shine upon her, and may she rest in eternal peace. 🕊️🤍

On November 16, 2025, the Volunteer Catechists continued their mission of spreading the Word of God by sharing the Gospel from Luke 21:5-19, where Jesus teaches about perseverance amid trials. This Gospel reminds us that challenges and hardships are part of life, but those who remain steadfast in faith will be strengthened and ultimately saved. Jesus encourages us not to fear difficulties, for the Holy Spirit will guide and give us the words to witness His truth.

As volunteer catechists, this reminds us to teach with courage, patience, and unwavering trust in God, inspiring others to remain faithful even in the midst of trials. Let us continue to serve with perseverance and guide others toward hope and faithfulness.

Last November 9, 2025, our Volunteer Catechist Ate Tine shared the Gospel from John 2:13-22, it is about revering God's Temple. This powerful passage reminds us that God desires a heart of reverence and purity. Jesus shows us that our faith must be alive, active, and rooted in true devotion, not just rituals or appearances.

As catechists, we are called to guide others in keeping their hearts focused on God, encouraging worship that is sincere and a life that reflects Christ’s love. Let this message inspire us to serve with integrity, zeal, and humility.

Our Volunteer Catechists once again showed their passion in serving the Lord on November 2, 2025, by sharing the Gospel from John 14:1–6. In this passage, Jesus comforts His disciples with the words: “Do not let your hearts be troubled… I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” This message reminds us that even when life feels uncertain or overwhelming, Jesus remains our sure path, our source of truth, and our guide toward eternal life.

He assures us that there is a place prepared for each of us in the Father’s house and that we are never alone in our journey. As long as we follow Him, we walk in light, hope, and purpose.
For us catechists, this Gospel is a reminder to trust God’s plan—especially when ministry becomes challenging. We are called to lead others closer to Christ, who is the only Way that gives life meaning and direction.

𝑵𝑬𝑾𝑺 𝑭𝑳𝑨𝑺𝑯 𝑭𝑶𝑹 𝑲𝑨𝑻𝑬𝑲𝑰𝑺𝑻𝑨 𝑯𝑰𝑮𝑯𝑳𝑰𝑮𝑯𝑻𝑺 ‼️

Last October 26, 2025, our volunteer catechists continued to share the Word of God faithfully, reflecting on the Gospel from Luke 18:9-14. This Gospel challenges us to look deeply into our hearts and examine the posture with which we approach God. The Pharisee stood with pride, confident in his own righteousness, while the tax collector humbled himself, acknowledging his sinfulness and asking for mercy. Jesus teaches that true righteousness comes not from boasting about our good deeds but from genuine humility and an honest recognition of our need for God.

As catechists, this message reminds us to serve with a humble heart. Our ministry becomes more meaningful when we rely on God’s grace rather than our own abilities, and when we lead others not through pride, but through compassion and sincerity.

Last October 19, 2025, the Volunteer Catechists continued their mission of spreading the Word of God by sharing the Gospel from Luke 18:1-8. This Gospel teaches us the importance of constant prayer and unwavering faith. Just like the widow who never gave up in seeking justice, we are reminded that God hears us when we pray—especially when we persevere and place our full trust in Him.

This powerful message encourages us to remain steadfast even when challenges arise in our catechetical mission. Prayer is not just asking—it is trusting, hoping, and believing that God works in His perfect time. As volunteer catechists, we are called to be examples of this persistent faith, inspiring others to pray without losing heart and to continue seeking God in every moment of their lives.

On October 12, 2025, the Volunteer Catechists continued their mission of spreading the Word of God by sharing the Gospel from Luke 17:11–19, which tells the story of the ten l***rs who were healed by Jesus, yet only one returned to give thanks.

This Gospel teaches us that while many receive God’s blessings, only a few remember to express genuine gratitude. Like the one l***r who returned to thank Jesus, we are called to be thankful not only in moments of abundance but also in times of trial. Gratitude opens our hearts to deeper faith and strengthens our relationship with God. As volunteer catechists, this reminds us to always serve with humility, acknowledge God’s grace in our ministry, and encourage others to live a life of thanksgiving and faithfulness.
