MORNING PRAYER | MAY 25, 2026

Prayer for Humility

Lord Jesus,
Your Word says that whoever exalts himself will be humbled, But whoever humbles himself will be exalted by You.
So today, Lord, I choose to humble myself before You. Forgive me for the times I’ve tried to make myself look big. Teach me to humble myself under Your mighty hand.
Help me serve when no one sees. Help me celebrate others without jealousy. Help me admit when I’m wrong. Help me take the last seat and let You choose when to raise me up. Keep me from chasing platforms and teach me to chase Your presence.
Jesus, You humbled Yourself even to death on a cross, And the Father exalted You to the highest place. So today, I bow my heart before You. I lay down pride. I pick up humility. And I trust Your promise for in due time, You will lift me up. In Jesus’ name, the Name above all names, Amen.
