As Holy Week has ended and the Easter season begins, the Ministry of Altar Servers continues to grow not only in service, but in brotherhood.

Last week, the ministry held a recreational activity with members from installed servers to aspirants. A 5v5 Mobile Legends tournament, hosted by the installed members led by Bro. Michael Vaughn Banaag and Bro. Francis Mosqueda , bringing fun and friendly competition to everyone.

The ministry also love to extend their gratitude for bro. John Mendel Espina for providing the ministry the venue to hold this event.

This shows that beyond service, the ministry also makes time to bond and enjoy moments together.

Tonight, we reflect on one of the most special days that the Ministry of Altar Servers faithfully anticipates each year, the feast of our Mother, Our Lady of Good Counsel. This celebration reminds us of her constant guidance as we continue our journey in serving the Lord with devotion and humility.

As the patroness of the Ministry, she leads us to walk the right path, shaping our service through years of dedication and deepened faith. With hearts full of gratitude, the Ministry of Altar Servers gathers in unity to honor her loving presence. May her counsel continue to inspire and strengthen us in all that we do.

With the Lenten season comes to a close, the Ministry of Altar Servers extends its heartfelt gratitude to all who supported us throughout this sacred time.

We give thanks to our priests, Rev. Fr. Orlando Cantillon, our Rector and Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Michael Ortega, and Rev. Fr. Bernardo Carpio, for their guidance and presence in leading our preparations.

We are also grateful to our senior advisers for their time and support, and to all Installed, Invested, and Aspirant members for their dedication and sacrifices in serving this season.

Today, we conclude the Sacred Paschal Triduum as we enter the joy of the Easter Season. Together with fellow ministries and parishioners, our Ministry took part in the solemn celebration of the Easter Vigil.

This sacred night, held before the Resurrection of our Lord, marks the triumph of light over darkness. The Ministry of Altar Servers faithfully served throughout the entire Vigil Mass. With hearts renewed, we now welcome the season of Easter with faith and rejoicing.

To conclude yesterdayโ€™s Maundy Thursday, the Ministry of Altar Servers faithfully carried out their long-planned Visita Iglesia for 2026. In prayer and devotion, the Ministry visited seven churches across the city:

To commemorate the 32nd celebration of the Lordโ€™s Passover, the Ministry of Altar Servers of the Minor Basilica of Saint Anne once again gathered in faith and tradition.

This yearโ€™s host, Bro. Jayson Silva, delivered his Mandatum as a meaningful highlight of the celebration, bringing the gathering to a solemn and reflective conclusion.

This was followed by the turnover of the menorah, as Bro. Jayson Silva officially passed it on to next yearโ€™s host, Bro. John Mendel Espina, symbolizing the continuity of this cherished tradition.

May this annual observance continue to deepen our service, humility, and love, as we follow the example of Christ who came not to be served, but to serve.
