Today marks the 439th Anniversary of the Minor Basilica and Archdiocesan Shrine Parish of St. Anne. As we celebrate the Feast of our beloved grandparents, Saints Anne and Joachim, the Ministry joins the faithful in honoring the grandparents of our Lord, whose lives continue to inspire us with their unwavering faith and devotion.

May their prayers guide us as we continue our mission of faithful service to God and His Church.

Today, we celebrate the foundation of the Church through the witness of its two great pillars, Saints Peter and Paul. With their faith, mission, and sacrifice has laid the groundwork for the spread of the Gospel and the unity of Christ's Church.

As we commemorate the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, we also honor the day of the Pope, the successor of Saint Peter, to whom Christ entrusted the care of His Church. May this celebration remind us to remain united in faith as one holy, catholic, and apostolic Church.

Along with the celebration of the 128th anniversary of the Philippines' Independence Day, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of our Lord.

Today, we are reminded of the Heart of Christ, his endless love for his people. The Sacred Heart calls us to draw closer to him, to trust in his compassion, and to reflect his love through a life of faith, service, and devotion.
