‎Following their successful orientation, our aspiring Altar Servers took a step out of the meeting room and into the sanctuary for an official tour of the La Purisima Concepcion Parish!
‎
‎Exploring the altar, the sacristy, and the church grounds is a crucial part of their training, helping them learn the locations of the sacred vessels so they feel confident and ready to serve.

‎A new batch of dedicated youth officially began their journey toward church ministry as the La Purisima Concepcion Parish successfully held its New Altar Servers Orientation yesterday, July 4, 2026.
‎
‎​The orientation, which was held at the parish, was spearheaded by Mr. Jomarie Medrano. The session served as the formal introduction for the newly recruited volunteers, aiming to equip them with the spiritual and practical foundation necessary for serving at the altar.
‎
‎Thank you to everyone who showed up and answered the call to serve the Lord. We are so excited to see you grow in faith and dedication to the Church!

Last April 1, 2026, our Altar Servers worked together to clean the church in preparation for the solemn celebration of Holy Week. 🧹🙏

Their simple yet profound act displays a heart eager to serve God with humility and sincerity. As they cleaned and organized our sacred space, they reminded us of the significance of spiritual preparedness during this holy season.

May their efforts inspire us all to prepare not just our surroundings, but also our hearts, for the passion, death, and resurrection of our Savior.✝️

LENTEN RECOLLECTION | As we enter the solemn days of Holy Week, we warmly invite all the faithful to a sacred evening of reflection and renewal through our Lenten Recollection: “Walking Through the Cross: The Gift of Resilience in Lent.”

Join us on March 27, 2026 (Friday) at 6:00 PM, live from the New San Nicolas de Tolentino Cathedral, Tandag City, Surigao del Sur.

This recollection is spearheaded by SUGA – Spiritual Upliftment, Guidance, and Accompaniment, the Tandag Diocese Retreat and Recollection Apostolate, with Sr. Pamela May R. Lonoy, MSM, RPsY, Commission on Family and Life Coordinator, as our recollection speaker.
