𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐓. 𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐋𝐄

On July 3, 2026, the learners, teachers, school personnel, parents, and administrators of Bohol Wisdom School gathered for the Holy Mass in celebration of the Feast of St. Thomas the Apostle and the First Friday Mass of the month. The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. James Aranas, bringing the school community together in prayer and thanksgiving.

Inspired by the faith of St. Thomas the Apostle, the celebration encouraged everyone to trust in God and remain faithful in their daily lives. It also reminded the school community to continue growing in faith, wisdom, and service as they work together to build a Christ-centered learning environment.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐘 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐓

On June 23, 2026, Bohol Wisdom School held a Mass of the Holy Spirit to formally open the School Year 2026–2027. The Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. John Legitimas.

The celebration began with the offering of candles symbolizing the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit, followed by the Holy Mass. During his homily, Fr. Legitimas encouraged everyone to entrust the new academic year to God and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit in all their endeavors.

The Mass served as a meaningful start to the school year, reminding everyone to grow in faith, wisdom, and service under God’s guidance.

In photos: A spirit-filled gathering was witnessed as the schools under Chapter 7 of the Campus Ministry, Diocese of Tagbilaran namely Bohol Wisdom School, San Isidro National High School, Tagbilaran City College, and University of Bohol College successfully completed the S.C.A.L.E. (Student Catholic Action Leadership Encounter).

More than just a program, S.C.A.L.E. is a journey of faith, service, and leadership that forms young leaders who are ready to stand firm in their mission and become active servants of the Church. Through meaningful activities, reflections, and shared experiences, the trainees deepened their relationship with Christ and embraced their calling with courage and purpose.

A heartfelt THANK YOU is extended to all SCAns, Liaison Officers (LO), facilitators, and the Animators of each unit for their dedication in organizing and leading the activities. Their passion, guidance, and witness of faith truly inspired and shaped the hearts of the trainees. Gratitude is also given to the Administrative Team of Bohol Wisdom School for their full support and for allowing the conduct of this meaningful and transformative activity.

With great joy, the community also celebrates the trainees who are now officially inducted as SCAns, ready to serve, lead, and live out the mission of Christ in their respective schools and communities.

As they begin this new chapter as young leaders, they are reminded that the path of service is not always easy. There will be challenges, struggles, and moments of doubt, but they are encouraged to hold on to their faith and trust in Him in every step they take. It is through these trials that their strength, character, and purpose are shaped, and may their faith always be stronger than their fears, with their service rooted in love.

May this milestone ignite a deeper commitment to serve with 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉, 𝒉𝒖𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆, inspiring more young people to answer the call and become part of this growing mission.

90 YEARS OF FAITH, ACTION, AND SERVICE!

To all our beloved SCAns and alumni, dedicated partners, and friends in the youth ministry across the archipelago: Happy 90th Founding Anniversary to the Student Catholic Action of the Philippines (SCAP)!

For nine decades, SCAP has stood as a beacon of Christ’s love in our schools and communities. Since 1936, we have embraced the call to "Restore all things in Christ," empowering generations of student-leaders to live out the Gospel through the See-Judge-Act methodology.

As we reach this historic milestone, we honor the pioneers who paved the way and the current SCAns who continue to be the "heart and hands" of the Church in the student world.

To our partners and co-laborers in the youth ministry, thank you for walking with us in this mission of love.

Let us continue to move forward with courage, humility, and zeal. Here’s to 90 years of grace, and to many more years of being Leaders for Christ and the Community!

This Easter Sunday, let this be a reminder that no darkness, no pain, and no failure ever has the final say. The empty tomb speaks of hope, new beginnings, and a love that never gave up on us. We are called to live as people of the Resurrection. Renewed, forgiven, and filled with purpose.

As His followers, let us challenge ourselves to do not just celebrate Easter—live it.

Rise from whatever is holding you back. Choose love over pride, faith over fear, and purpose over comfort. Be a reflection of Christ’s victory in the way you speak, act, and love others.

If He rose, so can we.

In photos: During this Lenten Season, the Knights of the Altar of Bohol Wisdom School faithfully served during the Stations of the Cross, guiding the faithful through each of the 14 holy stations that commemorate the Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ. Their dedication, reverence, and attentive service exemplified the true spirit of ministry at the altar.

Through their careful preparation, active participation, and devotion, the Knights of the Altar helped the community journey prayerfully from the condemnation of Christ to His burial. Each station was a profound reminder of Christ’s suffering, sacrifice, and love for humanity. We sincerely thank the Knights of the Altar for their faithful service, assisting in carrying the cross, lighting candles, and supporting the liturgical rites.

May their commitment inspire all members of the school community to serve with 𝒉𝒖𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆, following the footsteps of Christ and imitating His selfless example of service.

In photos: Faith and commitment continue to grow as Bohol Wisdom School hosted the PCM 6–10 (Preparatory Cell Meeting) of the Student Catholic Action (SCA) on March 7, 2026, with the active participation of San Isidro National High School. This gathering marked an important stage in the formation of aspiring SCAns as they near the final step of their journey.

The PCM 6–10 served as a deeper formation where aspirants reflected on their mission, responsibilities, and commitment as future members of the Student Catholic Action. Through meaningful discussions, activities, and moments of prayer, the participants were reminded of the values of 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆, 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕. Having come this far in their formation, the aspirants demonstrated perseverance, unity, and a sincere desire to serve the Church and the community. Their participation reflected their readiness to take the next step in their SCA journey.

As they prepare for the SCALE, the final formation before becoming full-fledged SCAns, this meeting stands as a testament to their growth in faith, leadership, and commitment to the mission of the Student Catholic Action. May these young leaders continue to grow in faith, serve with 𝒉𝒖𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚, and remain steadfast in their calling as disciples of Christ.
