With hearts full of gratitude and joy, the HNU-IBED SCA celebrates and warmly welcomes our newly inducted SCANs of HSST, MNHS, & HNU-IBED, who have completed the final stage of their formation — SCALE. This milestone marks not only the fulfillment of their journey but also the beginning of a deeper commitment to serve as true members of the Student Catholic Action.

Through every challenge and moment of growth, these young individuals have shown unwavering faith, perseverance, and a sincere desire to serve. Their journey reflects that true leadership is rooted in humility, strengthened by discipline, and guided by Christ’s love.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all facilitators, animators, and everyone who journeyed with our militants — your guidance and support have shaped them into who they are today.

As they step forward as full-fledged SCANs, may they continue to live out their mission: to be witnesses of Christ in their words and actions, to serve with compassion, and to inspire others through faith and service.

𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒’ 90𝐓𝐇 𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐘

Since 1936, the Student Catholic Action of the Philippines has stood as a living witness of faith in action—forming Christ-centered leaders committed to service, rooted in the Gospel, and responsive to the needs of the times.

For nine decades, SCA has shaped generations of young people who not only believe, but act—bringing the light of Christ into their schools, communities, and everyday lives. Through every challenge and change, the movement remains steadfast in its mission of evangelization, guided by the call to see, judge, and act in the way of Christ.

As we celebrate this 90th year, we are once again invited to go INFINIneTY and beyond—to deepen our faith, strengthen our commitment, and live out our mission with greater courage and love. More than a celebration of the past, this is a call to continue the legacy—to answer Christ’s invitation to Come and Follow Him, wherever we are.

To the student leaders of today, may we continue to live out our faith through action, reaching beyond our comfort zones and into communities where our service is most needed. Let us remain steadfast in our mission to lead with purpose, guided by Character, Competence, Commitment, Community-Orientedness, Creativity, and Credibility. Above all, may we always place Christ at the center of our leadership, allowing His example to shape our decisions, inspire our service, and strengthen our resolve to lead with integrity and compassion.

To all SCAns across generations, thank you for keeping the flame alive. May we continue to be bearers of His light—always striving for our flag, for our faith, and for Christ the King!

📍 𝐈𝐁𝐄𝐃 𝐇𝐍𝐔-𝐒𝐂𝐀 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 (𝐁𝐎𝐖) 🌟🙏

The Student Catholic Action (SCA) of the Holy Name University Integrated Basic Education Department recently finished its Basic Orientation Workshop (BOW). As the second to the last step in their formation, the aspirants-turned-militants took part in fun activities that they truly enjoyed. While having a great time, they also learned important lessons from the facilitators. This experience helped everyone grow closer and better understand their mission as they move toward the final stage of their journey.

🤝 𝐈𝐁𝐄𝐃 𝐇𝐍𝐔-𝐒𝐂𝐀 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐏𝐂𝐌) 𝟏–𝟏𝟎 📖✨

The Student Catholic Action (SCA) of the Holy Name University Integrated Basic Education Department concluded its Preparatory Cell Meeting (PCM) 1–10 on January 17, 2026, with participation from students of Manga National High School. Facilitated by the IBED SCAns and supported by speakers from the college departments, the formation allowed students to deepen their faith and understanding as children of God. Each lesson served as a stepping stone for their journey in servant leadership and evangelization.

The department extends its heartfelt gratitude to the school administrators and especially to the Unit Animator, Mrs. Christine Grace Ajoc, LPT, for her unwavering support and guidance. Above all, the dedication and service of the IBED Student Catholic Action members made this formation a truly meaningful experience for everyone involved.

The IBED Holy Name University Student Catholic Action of the Philippines officially began their second formation, the Preparatory Cell Meeting (PCM) 1–10, held at the Alumni AV Hall, Holy Name University, Tagbilaran City.

The formation brought together students from both Junior and Senior High School, with the participation of students from Manga National High School as well.

SCANs of Holy Name University facilitated the sessions, guiding students to learn more about and deepen their understanding of what it means to be part of the Student Catholic Action.

Carrying the spirit of faith into action, the Student Catholic Action (SCA) of Holy Name University Integrated Basic Education Department visited an orphanage in Cabawan, Tagbilaran City, Bohol last 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, for a day of meaningful outreach.

Guided by the motto "To restore all things in Christ," the SCA members shared more than just resources; they shared their time and hearts. They turned over various donations and essential goods to support the children’s needs, ensuring that the mission of charity reaches those who need it most.

The day was filled with vibrant energy as SCA members played games and bonded with the kids. The laughter shared between them and the children turned the visit into a celebration of community and love. It was a day where service met play, leaving everyone involved with a renewed sense of purpose and joy.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the HNU Alumni SCAns and all the generous donors whose contributions made this activity possible. Be a part of our mission! We invite all Holynamians to join the SCA and help us continue spreading God's love through service. Together, let us make a difference in the lives of others.✨️

The Holy Name University Senior High School Department community gathered in devotion to celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Held on December 9th with a solemn Holy Mass, the occasion honored the Blessed Virgin Mary, the patroness of the Philippines. Students, faculty, and staff were united in prayer, dedicating the department's mission and future endeavors to her maternal guidance and protection.
