Shame and guilt often make us run away from God, but from the very beginning, even in the Garden of Eden, God was the One looking for us. He called out, “Where are you?” not because He didn’t know where Adam and Eve were, but because He desired to restore relationship with them.

This reveals the kind of God He is a loving, pursuing, and compassionate Father. Our failures do not stop Him from seeking us. His love isn’t based on our perfection but on His character. Even when we hide in shame, He comes looking for us, inviting us back into His presence with grace and mercy.
