A welcome Mass was celebrated to mark the arrival of the pilgrim image of Our Lady of Guadalupe from Mexico. This special image is currently on a national tour, visiting various churches and dioceses across the country.

In Bohol, the image made a stop at St. Peter the Apostle Parish and the Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe de Extremadura in Loboc. It will be on display from August 12 to 14, 2026, before continuing its journey to the Diocese of Dumaguete in Negros Oriental.
