Get ready to show up for the Diocesan Youth Camp 2026! This year's theme, "Pusong Nag-aalab Tungo sa Mapagpalayang Paglilingkod," promises a week of fun, faith, and friendship, this May 25-29, 2026 at the church of the Blessed Virgin Mary Mother of Jesus, Mission of Taytay, Duero.

This is a week of self-discovery, making amazing new friends from different parishes/missions, and deepening your faith in a supportive community. We've got engaging workshops, inspiring talks, and awesome activities planned – from team building challenges and sports to creative expression. It's your chance to shine, discover hidden talents, and be part of something truly special. Together, we'll explore how to build a more compassionate and welcoming world.

This isn't just an ordinary camp; it's a life-changing experience you'll carry with you throughout your youth journey. It's a chance to grow, connect, and maybe even find that special someone! (Oy!) From Mission to Parish!

The Supreme Council of Bishops (SCB), through the recommendation of our Diocesan Bishop, the Right Rev. Warner C. Bulacan, has affirmed the elevation of the Mission of San Carlos into a full-fledged Parish.

The former St. James, Brother of Jesus Mission is now officially recognized as a Parish, marking a significant milestone in the life and mission of the Church in Brgy. San Carlos, Pilar, Bohol, with its outstation chapel at Matunhay, San Vicente, Pilar.

As we rejoice in this blessing, may all the faithful be renewed in their commitment to live out the Gospel, to serve with humility, and to build a community rooted in faith, hope, and love.

By the authority vested in the Office of the Diocesan Bishop, and after prayerful discernment for the greater service of the Church and the pastoral care of God’s people in the Local Church of Bohol, the Clergy Reshuffling effective June 1, 2026 is hereby officially announced.

These ministerial appointments are made in view of the missionary thrust of the Diocese and the continuing work of strengthening our parishes, missions, and outsations in the local church. As our clergy respond in faithful obedience to where the Church sends them, we ask the faithful to receive them with prayer, support, and solidarity.

May this reshuffling renew our common life in the Church and deepen our commitment to the Gospel ministry entrusted to us.

In the spirit of Christian unity, we are called to walk together—hand in hand and side by side rooted in Christ, and committed to a life of service.

In celebration of 70 years of grace-filled journeying in God’s mission and ministry, the WOPIC 17th REGIONAL TRIENNIAL CONVENTION commenced with the Opening Holy Eucharist, presided over by The Rt. Rev’d Warner C. Bulacan, Diocesan Bishop of Bohol, with the homily delivered by The Rt. Rev’d Virgilio Amehan Jr., Regional WOPIC Chaplain and Diocesan Bishop of Bago City.
