Mary, Conceived without OriginaL Sin

The dogma of the Immaculate Conception highlights the primacy and unicity of Christ in the work of Redemption, for it teaches
that Mary — the first to be redeemed — was herself redeemed by Christ and transformed by the Spirit, prior to any possible action of her own.[24] From this special condition of being the first redeemed by Christ and the first transformed by the Holy Spirit, Mary is able to cooperate more intensely and profoundly with Christ and the Spirit, becoming the prototype,[25] model and exemplar of what God wants to accomplish in every person who is redeemed.[26]

Ang "Maghimaya ka Maria"

Ang pag-ampo nga "Maghimaya ka Maria" adunay biblikanhong basehan sa Ebanghelyo ni San Lucas, ilabi na sa pagtimbaya diha sa pagpahibalo sa anghel Gabriel kang Maria ug sa pagtimbaya ni Elizabeth kaniya sa iyang Pagduaw. Ang bahin nga "Santa Maria, Inahan sa Dios, ig-ampo mo kaming makasasala" usa ka ulahing dugang, dili sa biblikanhon, nga nagpakita sa pagsabot sa papel ni Maria isip tigpataliwala ug Inahan sa Dios (Theotokos).

Ang unang bahin sa pag-ampo gikuha gikan sa duha ka importanteng mga tudling sa Bag-ong Kasabutan diha sa Ebanghelyo ni San Lucas:

THE ANNUNCIATION: Ang pagtimbaya sa anghel Gabriel kang Maria naglakip sa "Maghimaya ka, puno ka sa grasya, ang Ginoo anaa kanimo!"(Lukas 1:28)

THE VISITATION: Ang pagtimbaya ni Elizabeth kang Maria naglakip sa "Bulahan ikaw sa mga babaye nga tanan, ug bulahan usab ang bunga sa tiyan mo nga si Jesus!". (Lukas 1:42)

OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY

The development of the rosary has a long history. First, a practice developed of praying 150 Our Fathers in imitation of the 150 Psalms. Then there was a parallel practice of praying the Hail Mary 150 times. Soon a mystery of Jesus' life was attached to each Hail Mary. Though Mary's giving the rosary to Saint Dominic is recognized as a legend, the development of this prayer form owes much to the followers of Saint Dominic. One of them, Alan de la Roche, was known as “the apostle of the rosary.” He founded the first Confraternity of the Rosary in the 15th century. In the 16th century the rosary was developed to its present form—with the 15 mysteries (joyful, sorrowful and glorious). In 2002, Saint John Paul II added the Mysteries of Light (the Luminous Mysteries) to this devotion.

SAINT FAUSTINA KOWALSKA

Born in 1905 in Głogowiec, Poland, she dedicated her brief life to Christ in the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy. Receiving her vocation of announcing the loving mercy of God, she left a testimony of her mystical experience in the Diary of her soul. She undertook the work of announcing and imploring Divine Mercy throughout the whole world. She died at Krakow in the year 1938.
