β€œHow I love being a woman!” β€” sometimes Anne of Green Gables, sometimes me. Before, I dreaded it because of the dangers we faced for being the weaker vessel. But oh, how I love the thought of being a woman β€” wearing dresses, receiving flowers, being pursued, being cared for, being a sister, being a wife, and becoming a mother! GOD made me a woman because He thought it best for me and I will never change it in the slightest form. I am sure that He was never confused when He made me a woman and I need not pick my gender based on what I feel, because my Creator who knows me more than anyone else, more than I know myself, already picked for me β€” He made me a woman, a grateful one!

and reflects on the OUTSIDE.

Tandaan,
Hindi ka tina-trato ng Diyos na parang isang BASURA,
kasi ikaw ay MAHALAGA,
kaya iyong katawan ay 'wag IBALANDRA.

Proverbs 31:30
Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain:
but a woman that feareth the LORD,
she shall be praised.

Do you know how much a godly, hard working woman can accomplish in her home instead of being in the workforce? She can teach her children about the Lord throughout the day, read them the Bible, instruct them to hate evil and love good, cook healthy food from scratch, research natural cures, train her children to eat and live healthy, discipline them so they’ll grow up to be disciplined, mend clothes instead of buy new ones, only buy needs instead of wants, make sure the children only have a few, quality toys and lots of good books, garden, raise chickens, be available for her children and husband whenever they need her, and keep her home as clean and tidy as possible.

β€œHer children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.” (Pr. 31:28)

"What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?" - πŸ“– Psalm 116:12 KJV

As we stand on the threshold of a new year, it's natural to reflect on the passing days and to ponder the goodness of God in our lives. The question posed in Psalm 116:12 resonates deeply within us: "What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me?"

The transition from one year to the next provides an opportune moment for introspection. As individuals, we might take this time to count our blessings, to recall the moments of joy and triumph, and even the instances of trial and learning. In doing so, we uncover the tapestry of God's faithfulness woven into every aspect of our lives.

2023 brought its share of victories and challenges, but through it all, God remained steadfast. He guided our steps, comforted us in distress, and poured out His blessings upon us abundantly. As Christians, we are called not only to acknowledge His goodness but to respond with a heart brimming with gratitude.

Similarly, as members of the Church, this period offers a chance for collective reflection. We've walked this journey together, sharing in each other's joys and sorrows, lifting one another in prayer, and standing united in our faith. Let's celebrate the victories, learn from the trials, and express gratitude for the bond we share as the body of Christ.

As 2024 approaches, let's approach the new year with hearts overflowing with thankfulness. Let's enter this fresh season, not merely with resolutions but with a commitment to live out gratitude in every aspect of our lives. Let's render unto the Lord our praises, our service, and our unwavering devotion, knowing that He deserves nothing less for His abundant blessings.

May the coming year be one where thanksgiving becomes our daily anthem, where grateful living defines our Christian walk, and where our lives, both individually and collectively as part of the Church, magnify the glory of God through unwavering gratitude.

As we bid farewell to 2023 and step into 2024, let our lives resound with the chorus of

πŸ“– Psalm 107:1 KJV
"O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever."

Ministry is a Holy work, but it isn’t exempt from heartache.

If you want to hear that you need to set boundaries, then go ahead and just stop reading.

Don’t set boundaries.

Don’t draw the lines.

Don’t build that invisible wall around your heart.

Rip that guard down.

Don’t stay an arm's length away, but instead, wrap your arms around those who need to feel Jesus.

And don’t you dare quit loving people as hard as He does.

You’ll experience joy, but there’ll be seasons of deep disappointments.

Don’t get distracted.

Worship, even when wounded.

You may grieve, but God’s grace is greater.

And whatever you do, don’t allow the letdown to keep you from loving again.

After all, your ministry isn't about you.

It's about The One who’s called you.

So keep ministering and keep loving.

Just like Jesus.

πŸ“– John 3:16 KJV
β€œFor God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Reflecting on the significance of Christ's birth should naturally lead us to contemplate the purpose of His life and ministry on Earth. It is through His death and subsequent resurrection that the divine plan of salvation was fulfilled, offering eternal life to all who believe in Him.

As we honor the birth of Christ, let us also embrace the profound significance of His sacrificial death. Let us recognize that without His willing sacrifice, the nativity would have been incomplete, and the path to salvation wouldn't have been made available to humanity.

So, while Christ's birth marks the beginning of God's redemptive plan, it's indeed His death that embodies the ultimate expression of God's love and secures the hope of eternal life for all who put their trust in Him.

"Christmas without Christ is just a mess" echoes the undeniable truth about the significance of Christ's existence in this season.

Beyond the festivity, decorations, and traditional observances lies the fundamental essence of Christmas: the commemoration of Jesus Christ's sacrificial act on the cross over 2,000 years ago. His willingness to endure suffering, bore our sins (HEBREWS 12:2) died, and rose again on the third day (1 CORINTHIANS 15:1-4) stands as the cornerstone of hope, grace, and salvation.

Everyone cannot deny the profound impact of Christ's redemptive work. His selfless act transcends religious boundaries and cultural differences, offering eternal salvation to all who believe.

The verse from Romans 5:8 illuminates the depth of God's love displayed through Jesus Christ's ultimate sacrifice. It underscores the divine love poured out for humanity, regardless of personal beliefs or observances of Christmas.

Even for those who don’t celebrate this occasion traditionally, reflecting on Christ's crucifixion and resurrection offers a moment to ponder the immeasurable love and grace extended to mankind. It's an invitation to recognize the significance of Christ's life, death, and resurrection, acknowledging the eternal hope and reconciliation it brings to all who embrace it.

So, in this season, while not participating in Christmas festivities, let us embrace the profound significance of Christ's sacrifice on the cross. Let us acknowledge and reflect upon the immense love and grace manifested through His death and resurrection, offering redemption and eternal life to all who accept Him.

May this time serve as a poignant reminder that Christmas, in its truest essence, finds its meaning in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christβ€”a message of hope, love, and salvation for the world, irrespective of one's personal celebrations or beliefs.

πŸ“– Romans 5:8 KJV
β€œBut God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for
us.”

WITHOUT CHRIST not only will β€œChristmas” be a mess, but your life, particularly without Him, will truly become a mess! May you keep Christ not only in your Christmas, but that you have Him in your heart as your one and only Saviour who died, was buried, and rose again.
