Today, we joyfully celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, a humble servant of God who embraced poverty, simplicity, peace, and love for Christ.

St. Francis reminds us that true greatness is found not in wealth, power, or recognition, but in surrendering ourselves to God and serving others with humility and love. His life was a beautiful response to Christ's call to leave behind worldly attachments and follow Him with an undivided heart.

He teaches us to see God's presence in all creation, to care for the poor and suffering, to forgive generously, and to become instruments of peace wherever we go.

May we learn from St. Francis to love God above all things, to live simply, to give generously, and to serve without seeking praise. May his example inspire us to carry Christ's love into our families, communities, and the world.

Today, we honor the Holy Guardian Angels, whom God in His loving providence gives to accompany, protect, and guide us throughout our journey toward Him.

Though we cannot see them, their presence reminds us that Heaven is near and that we are never alone. They gently lead us toward what is good, strengthen us against temptation, call us back when we fall, and help us remain faithful to Christ.

May we learn to recognize God's grace in the quiet moments of our livesโ€”to choose holiness over sin, prayer over fear, forgiveness over resentment, and love over selfishness. May we trust God's will even when we do not understand His ways.

Today, we joyfully celebrate the Memorial of Saint Thรฉrรจse of Lisieux, Virgin and Doctor of the Church, the beloved โ€œLittle Flowerโ€ of Jesus. Her life was marked by a simple yet profound love for God, a childlike trust in His mercy, humility in the little things, and complete confidence in the loving heart of the Father.

St. Thรฉrรจse teaches us that holiness does not always require great and extraordinary deeds. She discovered that we can become saints through the ordinary moments of everyday life when they are offered to God with love. Her โ€œLittle Wayโ€ invites us to trust God as a little child trusts a loving Father, knowing that His mercy is greater than our weaknesses and that His love never fails.

Saint Thรฉrรจse desired above all to love Jesus and to make Him loved. She understood that even the smallest act, when done with sincere love, can become an offering pleasing to God. A simple prayer, a hidden sacrifice, a kind word, a patient response, or a humble act of service can become an expression of great love when offered to Jesus.

Her life reminds us that holiness is not measured by the greatness of our accomplishments, but by the greatness of the love with which we offer them to God. St. Thรฉrรจse found opportunities for holiness in the smallest and most ordinary things, teaching us that every moment can become a path toward Heaven.

St. Thรฉrรจse also teaches us the importance of humility. She knew her own weakness and littleness, yet she did not become discouraged. Instead, she placed herself confidently into the merciful arms of God. She trusted that the Lord would accomplish in her what she could never accomplish by her own strength.

Her childlike confidence encourages us not to be afraid of our weaknesses. When we fall, may we turn back to God with trust rather than discouragement. When we experience difficulties, may we remember that God remains close to us. When we feel small or unworthy, may we place ourselves more completely in His loving hands.

St. Thรฉrรจse had a deep desire to pray for priests, missionaries, sinners, and the whole Church. Although she lived a hidden life in the Carmelite convent, her love reached far beyond the walls of her monastery. She offered her prayers, sacrifices, and sufferings for the salvation of souls and for the spread of the Gospel throughout the world.

She reminds us that our prayers and sacrifices, even when unseen by others, have value before God. We do not need to be famous or accomplish extraordinary things to make a difference. When our lives are united with Christ and offered in love, even the smallest acts can become instruments of His grace.

May St. Thรฉrรจse teach us to love Jesus with a simple, sincere, and trusting heart. May she help us to discover holiness in the ordinary circumstances of our daily lives and to offer everything to God with love.

May we learn from her to trust in God's mercy, especially when we recognize our weaknesses and failures. May we never become discouraged by our littleness, but instead allow our weakness to lead us closer to the heart of Jesus.
