𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 𝐀 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 🙏⛪✨

With hearts filled with 𝗷𝗼𝘆, 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿, our parish community gathered in thanksgiving for the 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗮 / 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝗼 𝗟𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻, a beloved son of our dear Baclayon.

The celebration was held on 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗮𝘁 𝟴:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀, as we gathered as one faith community to give thanks for the gift of his priestly vocation and ministry.

We give thanks to God for the grace of calling one of our own to the 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱. May Christ, the Eternal High Priest, guide and strengthen Fr. Jess in his ministry. May the 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, lovingly accompany him and lead him ever closer to her Son.

Feast of St. Bartholomew, Apostle 🙏✨

Today, we joyfully and prayerfully celebrate the Feast of St. Bartholomew, Apostle, one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ. Also known as Nathanael in the Gospel of John, St. Bartholomew was a sincere and faithful disciple who responded to Christ’s call and devoted his life to proclaiming the Gospel.

St. Bartholomew was introduced to Jesus through Philip. When Philip told him that they had found the One about whom Moses and the prophets had written, Nathanael initially questioned whether anything good could come from Nazareth. Yet when he encountered Jesus, his doubts gave way to faith, and he recognized Him as the Son of God and King of Israel.

His encounter with Christ reminds us that God knows our hearts completely and calls us even when we are searching, questioning, or uncertain. St. Bartholomew teaches us to approach Jesus with an honest heart and to allow our encounter with Him to transform our lives.

Tradition holds that after the Resurrection and Ascension of Jesus, St. Bartholomew carried the Gospel to distant lands, courageously proclaiming Christ despite difficulties and persecution. His life was marked by faith, missionary zeal, courage, and complete dedication to the Lord. He remained faithful to Christ until the end, giving his life as a witness to the Gospel.

St. Bartholomew reminds us that being a disciple means more than simply believing in Christ—it means following Him faithfully, sharing His message, and remaining steadfast even when doing so is difficult. His example encourages us to become courageous witnesses of our faith in our families, communities, workplaces, and wherever God calls us to serve.

May his example inspire us to seek Christ with sincere hearts, to deepen our faith, and to proclaim the Gospel through both our words and our lives. May we never be afraid to answer God's call and to follow Jesus wherever He leads us.

With joyful and grateful hearts, we invite all Baclayanons to join the 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐚 of 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗔. 𝗟𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻, a son of our dear Baclayon, who was ordained to the sacred priesthood last 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, in the 𝗗𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻.

Tomorrow, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗮𝘁 𝟴:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀, let us gather as one community in prayer and thanksgiving as he offers his Canta Misa.

A son of Baclayon, now called to serve God and His people. May his priestly journey be filled with grace, humility, courage, and love. May his life and ministry continue to inspire many young people to hear and follow God’s call.

𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 [🤍]

Today, the Church joyfully celebrates the Memorial of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary, honoring Mary as the Queen of Heaven and Earth, exalted by God because of her unique participation in the mystery of our salvation. This beautiful memorial invites us to recognize Mary not only as the Mother of our Savior but also as our loving Mother and Queen, who continually leads us closer to her Divine Son, Jesus Christ.

The Queenship of Mary is a profound reminder of the glory that comes from faithfully serving God. Her queenship is not one of worldly power or authority, but of humility, love, obedience, and complete surrender to God's will. Having faithfully accepted God's plan and remained beside Jesus throughout His earthly life, Mary now reigns with Him in heavenly glory and intercedes for all her children.

As we celebrate this memorial, may we draw closer to the Blessed Virgin Mary and seek her motherly intercession. May her example teach us to trust God completely, to remain faithful in times of trial, and to lovingly follow Christ each day. May Mary, our Queen and Mother, guide us toward holiness and help us keep our hearts fixed on Jesus and the promise of eternal life.

Memorial of Saint Pius X, Pope 🙏✨

Today, we joyfully and prayerfully celebrate the Memorial of Saint Pius X, Pope, a humble shepherd of the Church whose life was deeply devoted to Christ, the Holy Eucharist, and the renewal of Christian life.

Born Giuseppe Melchiorre Sarto, Saint Pius X came from a humble family and was ordained a priest with a sincere desire to serve God and His people. He later became Pope and dedicated his pontificate to defending the faith, strengthening the Church, and leading the faithful closer to Christ.

Saint Pius X is especially remembered for his profound love for the Holy Eucharist. He encouraged the faithful to receive Holy Communion frequently and supported the practice of allowing children to receive the Eucharist when they were properly prepared. His desire was that the faithful, especially the young, would encounter Jesus truly present in the Blessed Sacrament and draw strength from Him.
His motto, “To restore all things in Christ,” reflected the heart of his mission. He worked tirelessly to renew Christian life, promote sound teaching, encourage sacred music and liturgical devotion, and defend the truth of the Catholic faith.

Saint Pius X reminds us that holiness is not found in worldly greatness, but in humility, faithfulness, prayer, and complete dedication to God. His life challenges us to place Christ at the center of our lives and to remain faithful to the teachings of the Church.

May his example inspire us to love the Holy Eucharist more deeply, to grow in our knowledge and practice of the faith, and to allow Christ to transform our hearts and our communities.

Today, we prayerfully celebrate the Memorial of Saint Bernard of Clairvaux, Abbot and Doctor of the Church, a devoted servant of God whose life was marked by deep love for Christ, unwavering faith, wisdom, and a profound devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. As a Cistercian monk and abbot, Saint Bernard tirelessly sought to lead souls closer to God through his preaching, writings, prayer, and example of holiness.

Known for his eloquent preaching and profound spiritual insight, Saint Bernard reminded the faithful of the transforming power of God's love and mercy. He encouraged Christians to seek Christ with sincere hearts, to remain faithful in times of trial, and to place their complete trust in God's providence. His life teaches us that true holiness is found in humility, prayer, love, and wholehearted surrender to the will of God.

May the example of Saint Bernard inspire us to deepen our love for Christ, to persevere in prayer, and to faithfully live out our Christian calling. May his wisdom guide us to seek God above all things and to become instruments of peace, charity, and truth in our families, communities, and the Church.
