Behold, the stage transforms into a vibrant spring garden.
With skirts fluttering like flower petals in the breeze, the dancers glide and twirl gracefully, as if blossoms dancing with the wind.
May this performance, "A Flourish of Flowers," present the garden's fragrance and vitality right before your eyes and within your heart, heralding a splendid year ahead and dancing through timeless beauty across the seasons!

Dance of "The Rhythm of Victory"
The spirit of the horse lies in its loyalty, courage, and unwavering endurance, making it humanity’s most reliable friend and capable assistant. In Chinese culture, the horse is regarded as a symbol of auspiciousness and good fortune, carrying the meaning of wishing others success.

As the Year of the Horse approaches, the scholar dancers of Miao De Bodhisattva Society Foundation will perform the “Dance of The Rhythm of Victory" for everyone. We hope to bring auspiciousness and good fortune, growth in wisdom and blessings, peace and well-being to all families, and to usher in a bright and beautiful new year filled with hope and prosperity.

In Buddhism, the lotus symbolizes the awakened nature that "emerges unstained from the mud," signifying how sentient beings can manifest their pristine Buddha-nature despite dwelling in the mire of afflictions. Its growth process mirrors the spiritual journey: roots anchored in the suffering of samsara, stem penetrating with Middle Way wisdom, and blossoms unfolding ultimate enlightenment. The lotus' hollow yet upright form, with petals unfurling in perfect sequence, embodies the harmonious Triune Truth described in sutras as "One is All." Through their dance, Miaode students physically manifest the arising and ceasing of karma—buds representing the initial arising of bodhicitta, full blooms signifying the blossoming of prajñā wisdom, and wilting petals demonstrating the impermanence of all phenomena. Please appreciate this dance "Summer Lotus" with a mind of pure non-attachment, and in the rhythm of breath, contemplate the pristine lotus of your inherent nature.

The radiant lanterns illuminate the Prajñā wisdom-light, while fluttering silks intertwine like karmic threads. With every gesture embodying the joy of dependent origination, the virtuosic dancers reveal the profound truth - "In every verdant bamboo lies the complete Dharma Body." May this joyful offering awaken all beings to perceive the present clarity, dancing forth their pristine nature amidst impermanent illusions. Now witness the collision of traditional essence and modern choreography, as millennial culture shimmers in glorious splendor upon the stage! Let your applause welcome the dance spectacle - "Lanterns Alight, Silks Aflutter"!
