"Praise be You, my Lord, with all your creatures"

Last October 4, we joyfully celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, a shining example of simplicity, peace, and love for all creation.

This year’s celebration is made even more meaningful as it coincides with the 800th anniversary of the Canticle of Creatures— the beautiful hymn St. Francis composed in praise of God through Brother Sun, Sister Moon, and all of creation.

May the spirit of St. Francis inspire us to live with gratitude, humility, and deep care for the world around us — seeing in every creature the reflection of the Creator’s love.

On this sacred Good Friday, we gathered at St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Church and Spirituality Center to venerate the Cross—honoring the profound love and sacrifice of Christ.

Step by step, a community in faith, we walked the solemn path of the Stations of the Cross — retracing the steps of Christ’s ultimate sacrifice and love. In every prayer and pause, hearts were lifted in faith and reflection. With grateful hearts, we also thank the officials of Brgy. Mag-Asawang Ilat, whose helping hands and generous spirit lit the way for this sacred walk. May we all carry the cross of compassion beyond this path.

As day fades into night, we gathered for the Mass of the Lord's Supper, commemorating Christ’s boundless love and the gift of the Eucharist. The silence deepens, the candles burn low, and at the Altar of Repose, hearts keep watch with the One who stays.
