In the Philippines, the FMM Sisters have several communities one of which is located in Tagayt
ay. For some decades now, as part of the community's apostolate and solidarity with the poor, the FMM Sisters in Tagaytay have been supporting scholars from Purok 156 Brgy San Jose as well as the children of their workers. The scholarship program has also been extended to other barangays like the Kabisayaan area. In the early years of the 21st century, Sr. Geraldine Guttierez, FMM, started to bake breads and sell it to the Sunday church goers to help in the scholarship project of the FMM community. This initiative also became an opportunity for some lay workers in the community to have skills training in baking and managing a bakeshop which will help them to become self-reliant should they opt to put up their own bakery in the future. The breads and other baked products like cookies and brownies are comparable to branded ones. "Every purchase helps send a poor child to school." Products:
