𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: Chapel and Church Cleanup Drive & YSLEP Mass Sponsorship

As we close this school year, we give thanks for the opportunity to serve through our final Chapel and Church Cleanup Drive. More than just caring for the sacred spaces, this activity became a moment of reflection on how we, too, are called to prepare not only the Church but also our hearts for God’s presence. Every act of service reminded us that holiness is lived in simple acts of love, dedication, and faithfulness. Truly, serving the Church has been a journey of growing in faith, responsibility, and unity as one community.

During the Mass Sponsorship, the YSLEP scholars served as collectors during the celebration of the Holy Mass, presided over by Rev. Fr. Francis Jay C. Beruño, DCC, which was graced with the Gospel reading from Luke 24:32: “Were not our hearts burning within us while He talked with us on the road?” This passage invites us to reflect on how God continues to journey with us, especially in moments of service and fellowship. As we look back on this school year, may our hearts continue to burn with faith, just as the disciples recognized Christ in their midst. May this experience inspire us to remain steadfast in service, rooted in faith, and always open to responding to God’s call in our daily lives.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: The Caritas YSLEP Scholars served as collectors during the Holy Mass, helping in the liturgy through their service to the community. The Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Ezalde D. Panaguiton, DCC, with the Gospel reading from John 9:1-41, reminding the faithful of Christ as the light who opens our eyes to truth and faith. Their participation reflects their dedication to serving both the Church and the community.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: Catechism and Feeding Program

In the spirit of love and service this February, we, the Caritas YSLEP Scholars, joyfully conducted a Catechism and Feeding Program at Purok Sampaguita Daycare Center in partnership with JHARA, JPIA, CBTV Council, and the Catechetical Guild. Through prayers, catechetical teaching, and shared meals, we nurtured both faith and fellowship among the children, creating a meaningful space where God’s love was experienced through care and generosity.

As we journey through the Lenten season, this outreach reminds us that sacrifice finds its deepest meaning in serving others. Inspired by the call to compassion and renewal, we offered not only nourishment for the body but also guidance for the heart, encouraging the children to grow in kindness, gratitude, and faith. Together, we continue to walk this season with hope, humility, and a steadfast commitment to serve.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: The Caritas YSLEP Scholars serve during the Holy Mass as collectors, offering their time and dedication in reverence and faith. Presided over by Rev. Fr. Ezalde D. Panaguiton, DCC, the celebration reflected on the Gospel of Matthew 5:20-22a, 27-28, 33-34a, 37, which calls us to go beyond mere observance of the law and embrace sincere love, honesty, and purity of heart. Through this service, the scholars exemplify their commitment to active participation in the life of the Church and devotion to the community.
