The NDTC Youth Servant Leaders Educational Program (YSLEP) Scholars came together this August 16, 2026, for a meaningful clean-up drive at the NDTC Chapel and Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria Parish in Tacurong City.

Through unity, responsibility, and a genuine heart for service, our YSLEP Scholars continue to embody the spirit of servant leadership—creating positive change through simple yet meaningful acts of service. 💚

The Youth Servant Leaders Club sponsored the Holy Mass on August 16, 2026, offering this celebration as a meaningful expression of faith, gratitude, and commitment to serving others.

May this Eucharistic celebration remind us that true leadership begins with a heart rooted in faith, humility, and service. As young servant leaders, may we continue to be instruments of hope and goodness in our community. 🤍

The Youth Servant Leaders Club successfully conducted a Book Donation Drive on August 15, 2026, at Abang-Suizo Integrated School. 📖💚

Through the generosity of our donors and the dedication of our youth leaders, we were able to share more than just books—we shared opportunities to learn, dream, and grow. Every book donated can open a new world, spark curiosity, and inspire young minds to reach for their fullest potential.

May these books serve as companions in learning and reminders that small acts of service can create lasting impact. 🌱📚

“Plant Today, Breathe Tomorrow: Growing a Greener Community Together”

On August 9, 2026, a collective commitment to environmental sustainability took root at Brgy. Upper Katungal, Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat, through Project CARE: Tree Planting Program.

The environmental initiative brought together the Philippines Nursing Students Association (PNSA), Junior Ecologists Movement (JEM), and Youth Servant Leaders Club (YSLC) in a meaningful effort to promote environmental awareness, community participation, and responsible stewardship of nature.

Guided by the theme, “Plant Today, Breathe Tomorrow: Growing a Greener Community Together,” the activity emphasized that every tree planted is a step toward a healthier environment and a more sustainable future. More than simply putting seedlings into the soil, the program fostered a sense of shared responsibility among young people and the community in caring for the environment.

Project CARE reflects the power of collaboration—where student organizations, youth leaders, and community members work hand in hand toward a common goal. Through initiatives like this, small actions can grow into lasting change, creating greener spaces and inspiring future generations to become stewards of the planet. 🌿

As the seedlings begin their journey toward becoming strong and flourishing trees, may they serve as a lasting reminder of what can be achieved when a community chooses to care, act, and grow together.

Last July 17, 2026, the YSLEP Scholars gathered for their monthly meeting to officially welcome the new academic year, discuss important updates and plans for the months ahead, and reaffirm their shared commitment to service, leadership, and excellence.

A highlight of the gathering was the Youth Servant Leaders Club (YSLC) Election of Officers, where the next set of student leaders was elected to serve the organization throughout the academic year.

Congratulations to our newly elected YSLC officers! May you lead with wisdom, integrity, and compassion as you inspire and serve your fellow scholars.

The Youth Servant Leadership and Education Program scholars gathered at Notre Dame of Salaman College for the Kairos 2026 & Annual Recognition, a meaningful celebration of faith, growth, and achievement. The event was not only a recognition of academic achievements but also a celebration of each scholar’s journey of becoming faithful servant leaders.

More than receiving awards, the gathering reminded everyone that every achievement is made possible through hard work, perseverance, God’s grace, and the unwavering support of mentors, benefactors, families, and the entire YSLEP community. Every milestone reflects a shared commitment to forming young leaders who serve with humility, compassion, and integrity.

Congratulations to all YSLEP scholars on your
well-deserved recognition! May this achievement inspire you to continue striving for excellence, leading with integrity, and serving others with compassion. 𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: 𝐊𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 & 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 | 𝐄𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

The Kairos 2026 & Annual Recognition began with a Eucharistic Celebration, bringing the YSLEP community together in prayer and thanksgiving. The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Jaime P. Mencias, DCC, reminding everyone to place God at the center of their journey. As the celebration marked the opening of today’s event, the scholars offered their gratitude for God’s blessings and sought His guidance, wisdom, and strength as they continue to grow in faith, pursue excellence, and serve their communities.

The CAMASA Orientation welcomed the newly graduated YSLEP scholars from Notre Dame of Salaman College and Notre Dame of Tacurong College as they officially begin a new chapter as members of the Caritas Manila Scholars Association (CAMASA).

The orientation introduced the graduates to the mission, values, and purpose of CAMASA, encouraging them to remain connected with the YSLEP community and continue the spirit of leadership, service, and giving back. As they move forward in their professional journeys, may they carry the values they have learned as scholars and become instruments of hope and positive change in their workplaces and communities.
