"You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also."

Hardships and difficulties are inevitable in the Christian walk, yet we are called to remain faithful and committed to Christ. True service is never a burden, it is a mission rooted in God's grace that unifies the church and matures our faith.

As believers, we cannot neglect active service in the body of Christ. Let us continue to help, equip, and discipline one another through the Scriptures, ensuring that the gospel is faithfully passed on.

"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." โ€” Hebrews 10:24โ€“25 (ESV)

God commands us not merely to attend church, but to actively stir up or spur one another on means we actively help each other grow in love and obedience to Christ. This kind of mutual encouragement cannot happen from a distanceโ€”it requires us to gather regularly, share our lives, and keep each other anchored in the truth as we await Christ's return.

Main Text: The Doctrine of the Church โ€” Ecclesiology
Scripture: Matthew 16:15โ€“19

Jesus Christ is the true foundation of the local church. United in Him, we are called to labor together for the Gospel, encouraging and comforting one another for the glory of God. We are no longer strangers or outsiders, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of God's household (Ephesians 2:19).

As followers of Christ, Scripture must remain the bedrock of our faith. As members of His body, we are called to devote our full attention to God's Wordโ€”respecting it, obeying it, and taking its truth to heart. Just like the early believers who devoted themselves to the apostlesโ€™ teaching and fellowship (Acts 2:42), let us align our daily lives and faith with Scripture as we pursue holiness for the glory of our everlasting God.

God did not design our faith to be lived "solo". When He saves us, He brings us into a local family of believersโ€”a community called to worship, serve, and walk together in humble obedience to Christ.

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." โ€” Matthew 11:28โ€“30 (ESV)

As Christians, we are not exempted from trials, suffering, or weariness. Yet our God is not indifferent to our pain. In His mercy, Christ extends a gracious invitation; to come to Him and find true, lasting rest for our souls.

Our current struggles and sorrows are not the end of our story. In Christ, we are invited to lay down our self-reliance, submit to His gentle rule, and learn from the One who is meek and lowly in heart.

Praising God for this opportunity to share His Word at Kapuso Village Integrated School! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Yesterday, August 6, 2026 (Thursday), the Tacloban-PVEP Life Coaches thru AGAPE DepED program officially started their ministry with the Grade 10 Marol students through our dedicated values advocates, Coach Marife and Coach Darren Lerion.

May God's continued guidance be upon our coaches as they mentor these young lives, and may our lives be a living testimony of God's mercy and grace to the entire school community. All glory and praise belong to Him alone! ๐Ÿค

Jonah 4:1-11
Align your heart in God's Heart

โ€œ...O Lord, is not this what I said when I was yet in my country? That is why I made haste to flee to Tarshish; for I knew that you are a gracious God and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and relenting from disaster." v-2.

Chapter 4 of Jonah exposes a raw, uncomfortable truth about the human heart: we easily fall into the trap of believing we deserve mercy, while others deserve judgment. God show His mercy towards Nineveh, reflect His love and mercy align His purpose for salvation.

As we align our heart to the Lord, who is gracious in mercy, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love; we obey and align our way to God's purpose in our life.
