This verse became real to us through your life, our one and only Tatay, Apostle Renato D. Cariilo. You were not just someone who taught us the Word. You fathered us in it.

Through your example, we learned how to pray with full dependence on the Lord, how to obey when obedience was costly, how to love Him with our whole being, how to fully surrender to Him, and how to live a holy life. You didn’t just instruct us on what to do. You showed us how to live like Jesus.

As the Apostle Paul said, “𝙄𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙢𝙚, 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙨 𝙄 𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙤 𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩” (1 Corinthians 4:16). Because of your spiritual fatherhood, we learned that the mandate is not only to hear Christ, but to follow Him with our whole lives. You taught us to live watchful, consecrated, and ready, preparing us for the soon coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you for being our Tatay in the faith. Thank you for passing on a life, not just a lesson. We love you so much!

As your sons and daughters in the faith, we stand in honor and gratitude for forty spiritual years of obedience to the mandate God entrusted to you.

This day is not a commemoration of time. It is a witness of obedience proven through fire. Forty spiritual years of saying yes to God. Forty years of prayer that cost comfort, sacrifice that demanded endurance, and faithfulness that refused compromise. Through seasons of testing, refinement, opposition, and triumph, you chose God’s will above all else. You stood firm when it was costly. You remained faithful when it was misunderstood. You obeyed even when obedience required everything.

Through your life and ministry, we were not merely taught the Word. We were formed by it. You did not simply preach Christ; you revealed Him. You led us into the mandate of Living Like Jesus, not as a message to be admired, but as a life to be lived. Through your obedience, an end-time generation is being prepared. You taught us to live watchful, consecrated, and ready, preparing the Church for the soon coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Your life continues to point us to eternity, reminding us that this calling is not about earthly comfort, but about readiness to meet the Lord.

Today, we do not merely celebrate a milestone. We honor a life fully surrendered to God. We honor the fruit of obedience that speaks through transformed lives and a Church aligned with the will of God.
