Mindanao Ptrs & Workers Congress 2026

The Association of Fundamental Baptist Churches of the Philippines (AFBCP) held its first-ever Regional Pastors' Congress in Mindanao, hosted by the Northern Mindanao Pastors, Bible Women, & Workers Association, last April 27-29, 2026.

More than 300 Pastors and Workers all over Mindanao converged and gathered at Bethel Baptist Church, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, for a 3-day conference with the theme, THRIVE. This was a fitting follow-up to our Biennial Conference theme.

The conference was well-attended, with our AFBCP Council Members sharing from the Word of God. The topics were as follows:

Thriving at Home (Family): Rev. Eddie Rayos
Thriving in our Resources (Stewardship): Rev. Mark Mauricio
Thriving in our Relationships (Handling Conflicts): Rev. Rodolfo Alamer
Thriving in our Purpose (Missions): Rev. Spencer John Gequillana
Thriving in Faith (Theology to Doxology): Rev. Xaris Mari Fidel

We are looking forward to our next Regional Pastors' Congress in Luzon, in October of this year. To God be the glory!

To ALL AFBCP FELLOWSHIPPING MEMBER CHURCHES:

Please be advised of this important update regarding our upcoming AFBCP Sunday, specifically our special offering.

All offerings collected and forwarded to the AFBCP Treasury will be given to our AFBCP churches affected by recent calamities, namely: the strong earthquake in Cebu, and the typhoons that hit our country.

For information where to send the offerings, please contact Rev. Walter Ibañes, our AFBCP Treasurer. You may send him a message through FB Messenger.

The AFBCP is pleased to announce our upcoming AFBCP Sunday, held every 3rd Sunday of October of every year. Last year was the launch of this special Sunday among all AFBCP fellowshipping member churches, with 25 of them able to participate.

This year, we pray that the entire AFBCP family would be able to unite our hearts on this one Sunday and praise the Lord for AFBCP and pray for her God-given direction moving forward.

Kudos to our energetic stage and floor coordinators, visuals and slides creator together with the AV team of Mr. Louie Dimayuga who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly and seamlessly throughout the Biennial Conference. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence made the event feel polished, prepared, and Spirit-led.

The Grand Chorale of the Palawan Association of Baptist Churches took part in the 36th AFBCP Biennial Conference held at the Edward S. Hagedorn Coliseum in Puerto Princesa City from May 26 to 29, 2025.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire chorale for making the conference more meaningful and spirit-filled. Their powerful voices not only lifted the atmosphere but also became a beautiful avenue to bring worship and glory to God.

The ensemble was made up of 360 choir members representing the following churches:

In addition, Mrs. Edna Beth Tablazon Abis of Grace Baptist Church San Pedro served as the accompanying pianist of the Grand Chorale.
