Today we celebrate not just another year of your life, but the energy, and heart you bring to the EVD NYI Council as our Junior Youth Representative—and proudly, our youngest member! Your passion to serve at such a young age is truly inspiring, and it reminds all of us that God can use anyone, no matter how young, to make a difference.

As it says in 1 Timothy 4:12, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young,” and you are living proof of that truth. Keep shining, leading, and serving with a joyful heart. 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀: 𝗔 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿

What a powerful and heart-stirring session with Ar. Edison Longcop as we dove into the session's focus, “Walk with Me: Mentoring Through Relationship, Not Just Teaching.”

This wasn’t just about strategies or lessons — it was a reminder that real discipleship happens in relationship. It’s in the conversations, the shared struggles, the laughter, the prayers, and the everyday moments. Mentorship is not standing in front and talking — it’s walking beside and living it out.

We’re challenged to be mentors who don’t just teach truth, but model it. Not just instruct, but invest. Not just lead, but serve.

Let’s keep walking together — growing, guiding, and becoming the kind of leaders who say, “Walk with me,” just as Christ walks with us. 🙌✨

Mark your calendars, brothers and sisters! The month of February is here, which means it is the Month of Love.

This year’s NESCON activity features "𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐉𝐚𝐦," a special event in celebration of Love Month on 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

With the theme “𝐀𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐚: 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐬,” this event invites us to reflect on the true importance of love, especially the love that comes from God.

Did you know that the word 𝐀𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐚 (אהבה), the first word in the book of Hebrew, means love? More than a mere emotion, Ahava signifies a deep, action-oriented commitment marked by affection and devotion.

This event centers on the love that comes from God, a love that has saved and continues to save every soul. It is a love that never perishes, but instead endures and prospers when we truly believe in Him and offer Him our praise.

𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽

Tonight, January 31 at 8:00 PM, the EVD NYI joyfully opened its 12-part monthly online discipleship series through Google Meet, led by Ar. Edison Longcop. The first session, Understanding Purpose: God's Design for Every Disciple, was a grace-filled and timely gathering that united participants across the district in a shared desire to grow deeper in Christ and in their calling as disciples.

With clarity and spiritual depth, Ar. Longcop powerfully affirmed that purpose begins with identity—knowing we belong to Christ before stepping into His calling. He emphasized that discipleship is a life of faithfully following Jesus, not merely a program to complete but a Christ-centered direction for daily living.

The session concluded with a hopeful reminder that God-given purpose leads to true transformation, renewing minds and shaping lives that reflect Christ. This inspiring opening brought glory to God and set a strong, faith-filled foundation for the months ahead. See you next month, ka-NYI!

The first-ever Youth Revival and Leadership Training across the North-Eastern Samar Churches of the Nazarene is set to take place this coming Friday and Saturday. This activity aims to ignite the spirit of our young leaders to serve our Almighty God with commitment and consistency.
