Worship Sunday
When What Doesn't Make Sense Leads to Fruifulness
Hebrews 11:17–19 | Genesis 22:15–18

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord” (Isaiah 55:8–9).

There are seasons when God’s ways feel confusing—when prayers seem unanswered, doors stay closed, and nothing makes sense. Yet Scripture reminds us that God is not asking for our understanding, but our faith (Hebrews 11:1).

Abraham offered Isaac believing “that God was able to raise him up” (Hebrews 11:19). Job worshiped in loss. Paul and Silas praised in prison. Even Jesus obeyed unto the cross. Their lives declare one truth:
God produces fruit in places that feel like sacrifice, waiting, and pain.

“Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it” (Philippians 1:6).
“In due season we shall reap, if we faint not” (Galatians 6:9).

So do not compare, do not lose heart. God sees what is hidden (Matthew 6:4). He is working even when you cannot see it.

Trust Him in the process. Obey Him in the unknown. Praise Him before the breakthrough.

Because sometimes, the path that makes the least sense…
is the very place where God brings the greatest fruit.
