𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Senior missionaries from across the East Visayan Conference (EVC) gathered for the 2nd Senior Missionaries Fellowship held on July 18, 2026, at Mansalip, Matag-ob, Leyte. Hosted by the Kananga District, the event carried the theme “Living the Mission: Carrying the Flame Forward,” bringing together experienced missionaries, district youth, and young individuals with a desire to participate in missionary service.

The fellowship featured an inspiring message from Pastor Lemuel Lauron, Director of the 1000 Missionary Movement of the East-Central Philippine Union Conference (ECPUC). He reminded the participants that every believer is called to be a missionary and emphasized that all are “well diggers,” entrusted to lead others to the Living Water through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Using the illustration of a well, Pastor Lauron encouraged attendees to become instruments of God’s grace, bringing hope, renewal, and salvation to those who are spiritually thirsty. He challenged both senior and aspiring missionaries to continue carrying the flame of mission with faithfulness and dedication as they share Christ’s love and prepare others for His soon return.

The gathering served as a meaningful reminder that missionary service does not end with age but continues through a lifetime commitment to God’s calling. Through fellowship, inspiration, and shared experiences, participants were strengthened to remain active in advancing God’s mission in their communities.

We want to celebrate the creativity, perspectives, and talents of Adventist students around the world by showcasing artwork that reflects your experiences, values, questions, and vision.

Who can submit?
Current Adventist college students enrolled at either an Adventist university/college or a public university. You do not need to attend an Adventist school your artwork is welcome as long as you are a current student who identifies as Adventist.

We are pleased to present the updated roster of the East Visayan Conference Adventist Youth Officers for this quinquennium.

This updated presentation reflects recent organizational changes, as some officers have been assigned to new positions, while others have been newly elected to serve. We praise God for His leading in this transition and for calling dedicated leaders to continue His work.

As we Embark on the Journey, may this new leadership team faithfully serve the youth throughout the East Visayan Conference territory with Christ-centered leadership, unity, humility, and a heart for mission.

To all our districts, churches, and youth organizations, let us welcome, support, and pray for these officers as we work together to strengthen the Adventist Youth Ministry and fulfill God's mission.

𝗪𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲.
𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗛𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗼,

𝗪𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴…

Have you ever experienced waiting?

Waiting is exhausting, isn’t it?

How long will it take?
When will someone finally arrive?
When will my turn come?
How much longer do I have to wait?

These questions often fill our minds whenever
we find ourselves in moments of delay.

Attending PYC 2026 and traveling all the way from Visayas to Mindanao through the land route was not easy at all. The journey itself became a lesson. It was full of waiting—waiting for the bus to be full before departure, waiting for passengers to gather their belongings and get off because they had already reached their destination, waiting for the next ride, and then another.

For almost 13 hours, it felt like we never stopped moving yet somehow we were always waiting—bus to boat, boat to bus, and back again.

Honestly, it became frustrating.

There were moments when I found myself asking,
Why does waiting feel so difficult? Why does it seem endless?

And then a thought quietly came into my heart—

How does God do it?

God came down for us. He carried our sins. He prepared the way of salvation throughout history—from the sanctuary revealed in Exodus, to the fulfillment and message carried into Acts—and even after all that…

He still waits.

He waits for us to choose Him.
He waits for us to return.
He waits patiently for us to come home.

And I realized something that deeply moved me—

If I became frustrated waiting for a few hours during a trip,
how much more has God waited for me my whole life?

Attending PYC opened my eyes to that reality.

I realized how God had been paving the way for me all along—drawing me closer to Him, giving opportunities to know Him more deeply—while I kept making my own side quests, chasing things that distracted me, leaving Him waiting.

During the breakout sessions, especially as the sanctuary was explained in such detail, I found myself constantly emotional. Many times, I cried. Many times, I prayed.

The only words in my heart were:

“Lord… what have I done? I am sorry.
You have been waiting for me all along.”

Every session felt personal.

Even now, I still replay in my mind what Doc Robin said:

“Don’t let this gospel become just information to you; let it become transformation—for your life and for the lives of others.”

Those words stayed with me.

From PYC until now, I have been trying to continue what I learned, what I heard, and what I experienced there. I want to seek God first—not to let Him keep waiting while I become too comfortable enjoying the world, forgetting that He already paid the price for me on the cross.

Waiting changed its meaning for me.

I used to think waiting was simply about delays and frustration.

But now I realize—

Waiting can also be love.

Because God waits not because He has to,
but because He wants us with Him.

So again, let me ask you the same question
I asked at the beginning…

How long has God been waiting for you to come unto Him?

𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬. 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐁𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐮𝐩 𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫.

United under the theme "Filled to Overflow," the simultaneous Area Public Campus Ministry Convention of the East Visayan Conference stood as a powerful testimony that God is still raising students and young leaders to become ambassadors for Christ in their campuses.

In a generation marked by confusion, brokenness, and spiritual emptiness, campus ministry remains a beacon of hope. Through His promise, "I will pour out My Spirit on all people" (Joel 2:28), God continues to empower this generation to live boldly, lead faithfully, and proclaim Christ wherever He has placed them.

Serving 𝑬𝒍 𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒅𝒅𝒂𝒊—the God who is more than enough—we are reminded that His grace never runs dry.

𝑭𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕. 𝑶𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒄𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒖𝒔.
