April 28, 2026, at 6:30 PM, Requiem Mass presided by Rev. Fr. Joemar Martos, with the choir beautifully led by Sis. Chona Piedad, whose voices lifted the prayers of the community heavenward.

This Requiem Mass was more than a ritual of remembrance—it was a profound act of faith. In honoring those who have gone before us, we were reminded of the communion of saints and the hope of eternal life promised in Christ. Celebrating it after the feast of St. Bernadette highlighted the grace of humble faith and perseverance, virtues that inspire us to walk steadfastly in our own

In moments like these, we realize that our departed loved ones are never far from us. Their memory continues to shape our lives, and our prayers for them strengthen our bond in Christ, who is Lord of both the living and the dead.

21st Feast Day in honor of St. Bernadette Soubirous
April 27, 2026 – Phase 2B, Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Tacloban City.
After the Holy Eucharist, Rev. Fr. Loreto Anante, Rev. Fr. Joemar Martos and the faithful gathered for picture-taking and fellowship, a simple yet heartfelt expression of unity and joy. There were also pictures captured during the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.

The fellowship and picture-taking were more than just joyful moments—they were signs of a living Church, where bonds of friendship and faith are nurtured.
As one ecclesial community we continue to walk together, inspired by St. Bernadette’s witness of trust and perseverance, and strengthened by the joy of being united in Christ.

21st Feast Day in honor of St. Bernadette Soubirous
April 27, 2026 – Phase 2B, V&G, Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Tacloban City

The Ecclesial Community celebrated the 21st Feast Day in honor of St. Bernadette Soubirous with the Holy Eucharist presided by our dear Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Loreto Amante, together with Rev. Fr. Joemar Martos, our new Parochial Vicar.

Joining us were seminarians from the St. John the Evangelist School of Theology (SJEST) and the Sacred Heart Seminary—two seminarians from V&G Subdivision and one from Abuyog—who served with devotion and joy.

The sponsors of this year’s feast were the Family Groups in Phase 2B, V&G Subdivision, Tacloban City, who offered their prayers and presence in thanksgiving.

Though the celebration was simple due to the present crisis situation, the community gathered as One Church through the BEC–Family Groups and Block Rosary Units, showing that faith and unity remain strong even in challenging times.

Reflection:
The presence of seminarians alongside our priests was a beautiful reminder of the continuity of faith and vocation in the Church. Their service at the altar reflects the hope of future shepherds who will continue to guide God’s people.

St. Bernadette’s humility and perseverance inspire us to embrace simplicity, especially in times of trial. This year’s feast, though modest, was rich in meaning: it showed that true celebration is not measured by grandeur but by the depth of faith and the unity of hearts.

As one community, we continue to walk together, strengthened by the witness of St. Bernadette, who teaches us that holiness is found in trust, prayer, and fidelity to God’s call.
St. Bernadette Soubirous, Pray for us🙏🙏🙏

The Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God is a celebration of Mary's role as the mother of Jesus Christ, emphasizing her spiritual union with God's will. The Gospel reading (Luke 2:16-21) describes the shepherds' visit to Bethlehem, where they find Mary, Joseph, and the infant Jesus. Mary treasures these events in her heart, reflecting on the mystery of her motherhood.

This solemnity reminds us of God's immense love, sending His Son to save humanity. Mary's "yes" to God's plan sets an example for us, inviting us to surrender our will to God.

Reflection:
Like Mary, we are called to ponder God's word and observe it.
Mary's motherhood encompasses her whole being, uniting her to Jesus.
As Mother of God, Mary is mother to all God's children, including us.

May this solemnity inspire us to deepen our faith and devotion to Mary, our heavenly mother.

The Solemnity of the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ is a celebration of God's greatest gift to humanity - the birth of Jesus, the Savior.
The Holy Eucharist presided by Rev. Fr. Samie Malasaga
Gospel (Luke 2:1-14)
The Gospel shares the humble birth of Jesus in Bethlehem, fulfilling Old Testament prophecies. Angels announce the "good news of great joy" to shepherds, symbolizing God's love for the lowly
Reflection:
Christmas is a reminder of God's immense love, sending His Son to save us.
Jesus' birth in simplicity calls us to humility and openness to God's will.
"Glory to God, peace on earth" - may we spread joy and peace this Christmas.
May this Christmas fill our hearts with God's love and light.

December 24, 2025-Day 9
Misa De Gallo
Holy Eucharist presided by Rrv. Fr. Loreto Amante
Theme: TESTAMENTO - An kalugaringon nga pakig-unong ha Diyos (Personal Commitment with my God)

The theme invites us to reflect on our personal commitment to God, surrendering our will to His plan.

(Luke 1:67-79):
Zechariah's prophecy highlights God's faithfulness and the coming of the Messiah. It reminds us that God's plan is greater than ours.

Reflection:
Like Zechariah, may we be open to God's plan and voice.
Our personal commitment to God is a daily choice to trust and obey.
As we prepare for Christmas, let's renew our commitment to walk with God.

May this Misa de Gallo inspire us to deepen our personal commitment to God 🙏♥️💒🪅
