OFFICIAL STATEMENT

The Safeguarding Office: Protection of children and vulnerable adults in the Archdiocese of Palo, is the Office tasked with receiving reports of any incident of abuse towards minors and vulnerable adults in the Archdiocese. The Office receives every concern presented and takes every matter with utmost seriousness.

In this regard, we respectfully appeal to any individual who may have been directly affected, as well as to anyone who has personal knowledge or credible information regarding any form of abuse within the Archdiocese of Palo, to come forward and contact the Safeguarding Office, so that any problem regarding this matter will be addressed immediately.

Any information shared with our office will be received with due sensitivity, respect for confidentiality, and in accordance with the safeguarding policies and procedures of the Archdiocese of Palo.

Victimizing young ones, children or vulnerable adults is unacceptable in the Catholic Church. And we would like this abominable action to stop. Thank you for your concern not only in our community but also in our church. We continue working together to address and definitely avoid incidents of abuse.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

The Parish Pastoral Council of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, Cabacungan, Dulag, Leyte, warmly invites all parishioners, devotees, and members of the faithful to join the Grand Motorcade in celebration of the 116th Fiesta of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel on July 6, 2026, at 8:00 AM.

Route Description:
The Grand Motorcade will commence at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in Brgy. Cabacungan, Dulag, Leyte. Participants will proceed along the designated route to Brgy. Sto. NiΓ±o, Julita, Leyte, which serves as the official turnaround point. Upon reaching the turnaround area, the motorcade will retrace the same route through Dulag and conclude at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, the designated starting and ending point of the activity.

We encourage all vehicle owners, organizations, ministries, and devotees to participate and decorate their vehicles appropriately in honor of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. Let us celebrate this historic occasion with reverence, unity, and joyful faith.

ANNOUNCEMENT || NOVENA MASS PRESIDERS SCHEDULE

In celebration of the 116th Fiesta of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, we invite everyone to join the Novena Masses from July 6 to 14, 2026 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, Brgy. Cabacungan, Dulag, Leyte.

Each Novena Mass will be presided over by guest priests from various parishes as we spiritually prepare for our patronal feast.
