Brotherhood of Saint Andrew (BSA)
St. John the Evangelist Parish
Congregational Assembly 2026

The Brotherhood of Saint Andrew of St. John the Evangelist Parish humbly presents its statement of participation for the Congregational Assembly 2026, guided by our core disciplines of Prayer, Study, and Service, and anchored in the Five Marks of Mission of the Episcopal Church in the Philippines.

TO PROCLAIM THE GOOD NEWS OF THE KINGDOM

the BSA actively participates in regular corporate worship, parish prayer gatherings, and intercessory prayers for the Church, the community, and the nation. Through prayer, we nurture our spiritual life and strengthen our commitment to Christ-centered leadership among men of the Church.
Study continues to shape our growth in faith and understanding. In line with the Second Mark of Mission.

TO TEACH, BAPTIZE, AND NURTURE NEW BELIEVERS

The Brotherhood conducts Bible studies, faith-sharing sessions, and leadership formation activities. These help deepen our knowledge of Scripture, Anglican tradition, and Christian stewardship, equipping members to live out and share their faith responsibly within the parish and beyond.
Service is our visible witness of faith in action.

Third, Fourth, and Fifth Marks of Mission

RESPONDING TO HUMAN NEED BY LOVING SERVICE
TRANSFORMING UNJUST STRUCTURES OF SOCIETY
SAFETYGUARDING THE INTEGRITY OF CREATION

The BSA actively supports parish programs, outreach activities, youth and sports ministries, and community engagements.
The Brotherhood stands ready to serve in times of need, promote justice and peace, and care for God’s creation as faithful stewards.

As we participate in the St. John the Evangelist Parish Congregational Assembly 2026, the Brotherhood of Saint Andrew reaffirms its commitment to walk together with the parish in mission and ministry. United in prayer, grounded in study, and expressed through service, we continue to answer God’s call to build a faithful, responsive, and mission-oriented Church.

MEN IF PRAYER, MEN OF THE WORD, MEN OF SERVICE.

Brotherhood of Saint Andrew Supports SKEP Sportsfest at St. John the Evangelist Parish

The Brotherhood of Saint Andrew (BSA) of St. John the Evangelist Parish proudly extended its support to the Sportsfest Basketball and Volleyball Tournament conducted by the SKEP (Samahan ng Kabataang Episcopal sa Pilipinas). The activity was held in the spirit of unity, fellowship, and healthy competition among the youth from different DINAMINATION SECT from other Barangay Lacnog, Bulanao and Nambaran.

The BSA’s support highlights its continuing commitment to nurturing the physical, social, and spiritual well-being of the young people of the parish. Through this sportsfest, the youth were given an avenue to develop discipline, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship—values that are deeply rooted in Christian living.

Members of the Brotherhood actively participated by providing moral support, encouragement, and assistance to ensure the smooth and orderly conduct of the basketball and volleyball games. Their presence also served as a reminder of the strong partnership between parish organizations in building a vibrant and united faith community.

The Brotherhood of Saint Andrew commends the SKEP officers and members for organizing a meaningful and well-coordinated sportsfest. May this activity continue to inspire the youth to stay engaged in parish life, strengthen their faith, and grow as responsible Christian leaders.

Together as one parish family, we celebrate unity, service, and faith in action.
