Brotherhood of Saint Andrew (BSA)
St. John the Evangelist Parish
Congregational Assembly 2026
The Brotherhood of Saint Andrew of St. John the Evangelist Parish humbly presents its statement of participation for the Congregational Assembly 2026, guided by our core disciplines of Prayer, Study, and Service, and anchored in the Five Marks of Mission of the Episcopal Church in the Philippines.
TO PROCLAIM THE GOOD NEWS OF THE KINGDOM
the BSA actively participates in regular corporate worship, parish prayer gatherings, and intercessory prayers for the Church, the community, and the nation. Through prayer, we nurture our spiritual life and strengthen our commitment to Christ-centered leadership among men of the Church.
Study continues to shape our growth in faith and understanding. In line with the Second Mark of Mission.
TO TEACH, BAPTIZE, AND NURTURE NEW BELIEVERS
The Brotherhood conducts Bible studies, faith-sharing sessions, and leadership formation activities. These help deepen our knowledge of Scripture, Anglican tradition, and Christian stewardship, equipping members to live out and share their faith responsibly within the parish and beyond.
Service is our visible witness of faith in action.
Third, Fourth, and Fifth Marks of Mission
RESPONDING TO HUMAN NEED BY LOVING SERVICE
TRANSFORMING UNJUST STRUCTURES OF SOCIETY
SAFETYGUARDING THE INTEGRITY OF CREATION
The BSA actively supports parish programs, outreach activities, youth and sports ministries, and community engagements.
The Brotherhood stands ready to serve in times of need, promote justice and peace, and care for God’s creation as faithful stewards.
As we participate in the St. John the Evangelist Parish Congregational Assembly 2026, the Brotherhood of Saint Andrew reaffirms its commitment to walk together with the parish in mission and ministry. United in prayer, grounded in study, and expressed through service, we continue to answer God’s call to build a faithful, responsive, and mission-oriented Church.
MEN IF PRAYER, MEN OF THE WORD, MEN OF SERVICE.
