Tears can be real.
Emotions can be sincere.
But repentance goes deeper than a moment of feeling.

You can cry and still go back to the same habits.
You can feel sorry and still choose the same path.

Repentance is not proven by how you feel.
It is revealed by what you do next.

“Produce fruit in keeping with repentance.”
Matthew 3:8

True repentance is a decision.
A turning of the heart.
A change in direction.

It is walking away from what once held you.
It is choosing differently even when it is hard.
It is aligning your life with what God is calling you to.

God is not moved by temporary emotion.
He looks for transformation.

Not perfection, but progress.
Not just words, but action.

Because real repentance leaves evidence.

It shows in your choices.
It shows in your priorities.
It shows in the life you begin to live after the moment has passed.

So do not stop at tears.
Let it lead to change.

Because repentance is not just something you feel.
It is something you live. ❤️‍🔥

Sa dami ng problema ngayon.. mahal ang bilihin, pagod na isip, mga laban na hindi mo na alam paano haharapin…

Tapos makikita mo ang eksenang ito mula sa The Passion of the Christ.
Si Jesus, sugatan… hirap na hirap…
pero ang sinabi Niya:
“See, Mother, I make all things new.”

This is your reminder:
Hindi ito ang katapusan ng kwento mo.

In Mark 2:1–12, a paralyzed man couldn’t reach Jesus on his own. ✝️

He was stuck.
Helpless.
Completely dependent.

But he had FRIENDS.

When the door was blocked, they didn’t turn back.
When the crowd wouldn’t move, they didn’t quit.

They climbed the roof.
They broke it open.
They lowered him straight into the presence of Jesus.

That is love.
That is faith.
That is real friendship.

Some friends will party with you in sin.
Some friends will watch you ruin your life and stay silent.
Some friends will help you drift farther from God.

But the friends you truly need are the ones who will:

confront you,
pray for you,
carry you, and
do whatever it takes to get you to Jesus —
even when it costs them something.

So here’s the real question:

Are your friendships pulling you closer to Christ…
or pushing you farther from Him?

Because one day, you will stand before Jesus.

Not with your crew.
Not with your reputation.
Not with your excuses.

Just you and Him.

Choose friends who fight for your soul.
Choose friends who speak truth.
Choose friends who would rather lose your approval than lose you to sin.
Find friends who would tear off a roof just to bring you to Jesus.

And be that friend for someone else.

Your eternity is too important for casual friendships. ✝️

And that’s exactly why so many Christians are dying spiritually.

Not because they fell into major sin.
Not because they stopped believing in God.
But because they slowly replaced God with everything else,
and called it “being busy.”

Let’s say it plainly:

People don’t skip church because they’re busy.
They skip church because something else became more important.

We have time to go out.
Time to travel.
Time to shop.
Time to sleep in.
Time to scroll for HOURS.
Time to binge shows.
Time to hang out.
Time to do errands that could’ve waited.

But when it’s time to go to the house of God?

Suddenly, everyone’s “busy.”
Sunday becomes “rest day.”
Worship becomes “optional.”
Service becomes “kung kailan free.”

We see people wake up early for work,
but can’t wake up for worship.
We see people sacrifice for their hobbies,
but have no strength for ministry.
We see people push through traffic for their entertainment,
but church is “too far.”

Let’s be real:
It’s not a time issue.
It’s a HEART issue.

Because you always make time for what matters to you.

And here’s the sharp truth nobody wants to hear:

Many Christians have already left the church,
even if they’re still attending occasionally.
Their hearts are gone.
Their priorities shifted.
Their passion died.

Why?
Because the world successfully convinced them that what they’re doing is “important.”
That missing church “just this once” is harmless.
That skipping worship because you’re “tired” is understandable.
That serving God can wait.

But listen:

Hell will not announce its attack.
It will simply keep you busy until you slowly walk away from God without noticing.

Busy enough to miss church.
Busy enough to avoid ministry.
Busy enough to lose your fire.
Busy enough that you don’t even realize you’re backsliding.

And the devil laughs,
not because he destroyed you,
but because he distracted you.

Yet when life crashes,
when problems suffocate you,
when you feel empty, lost, broken,
guess who you run to?

The same God you kept pushing aside because you were “busy.”

“Seek FIRST the Kingdom of God…” (Matthew 6:33)
Not fifth.
Not last.
Not “if I have time.”
FIRST.

So here’s the rebuke:

Stop calling yourself too busy for God
when you’re fully available for everything else.

Stop skipping church for reasons you’d never dare use for work.
Stop treating worship like a chore.
Stop treating ministry like an interruption.
Stop treating God as if He should be grateful you even show up once a week.

One day,
you will stand before Him.
Your excuses won’t matter.
Your schedule won’t save you.
Your “busyness” won’t matter in eternity.

Serve Him now.
Seek Him now.
Show up now.
Because a faith that is always “busy”
will one day be a faith that is completely gone.

God doesn't call us to be comfortable. He calls us to be faithful.
Most of us desire to be comfortable, safe and secure. We like things to be orderly in our lives, not chaotic. And none of those things are deadly in and of themselves.

Trouble arises when the desire for safety and security becomes the theme of our lives. When a relaxation mentality supplements our attentiveness to God's call on our lives.

Jesus took time off, but he didn't come to earth to relax. He came for a specific mission and he left us with one too.

Comfort can be dangerous because it is subtle in its deception. It can cause us to miss the very best because we have steeled for something good. On the surface everything looks fine. What could be wrong with having a nice family? A good job? A routine?
The problem is we might forget that in the grand scheme of things (namely eternity), we have about five seconds on earth to make our lives count.

Comfort and familiarity are not what Jesus points us towards.
The calling of faith pushes us out of our comfort. Christ came into the world so he could send us out into the world. We are filled with His Holy Spirit, and we can walk where Jesus walked and be the hands and feet of Jesus.

God wants to help us see that there is a fight to be fought, a race to be run, something of eternal significance to be contended for. He calls us to greater purpose, but He knows how easy it is to just eat a good meal, relax with a nice drink, and forget about the brevity of life on earth.

Don't settle for comfort. Step forward in faith, even when you don't know anything other than that you're far out with God on the end of the limb, believing that He wants to make His fame known to this generation of people. If you move in faith, God will always breathe life on your journey.

"We cannot pray in love and live in hate and still think we are worshipping God." - A. W. Tozer

Question:

Does the way you speak about and to others align with the way God calls you to speak?

Be reminded...

"Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear." Ephesians 4:29 ESV

"Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person." Colossians 4:6 ESV

"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer." Psalm 19:14 ESV

"A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion." Proverbs 18:2 ESV

"Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance." Proverbs 1:5 ESV

"Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger" James 1:19 ESV

"An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge." Proverbs 18:15 ESV

Matthew 7:21 states that simply confessing "Lord, Lord" is insufficient for entering the Kingdom of Heaven; it is those who do the will of the Father in heaven who will enter. This verse emphasizes that genuine faith is demonstrated through obedience and action, rather than just verbal acknowledgment.

Key interpretations of Matthew 7:21:

Deeds reflecting faith:

While salvation is by grace through faith, a true believer's life will reflect that salvation through transformed attitudes and actions, indicating a heart changed by God's work in them.

Distinction from false professions:

The verse, especially when read with verses 22-23, highlights that some individuals may perform religious acts or even miracles in Jesus' name but ultimately be rejected because their actions were not rooted in genuine obedience to God's will or a true relationship with Christ.

The will of God:

"Doing the will of God" involves more than just performing religious rituals; it signifies a life of submission to God's commands and an alignment with His purposes, often seen as an expression of a changed heart.

Motivation and self-righteousness:

Some interpretations suggest that if one's motivation for religious activity is primarily for personal gain or self-salvation, it is not truly doing God's will, but rather serving oneself.

‭Matthew 7:21-23

[21] “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. [22] Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ [23] Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
