I saw this photo, and it stopped me for a moment...
No beautiful flooring, no air conditioning, no comfortable chairs and no grand stage.
Yet there was no reason for this believer to hold back from bending his knees in worship before God.
Because true worship was never about the comfort of the place… it has always been about the surrender of the heart.
It makes us ask: How many small churches like this exist around the world? Hidden away in villages, homes, and humble gatherings where believers worship Jesus with everything they have, not because it is easy, but because He is worthy.
Many of us today struggle when the temperature is a little too warm, when the seat is not comfortable enough, or when worship requires a little sacrifice.
But at the same time, we have brothers and sisters in Christ who gather under difficult conditions, facing rejection, persecution, and even danger, yet they still lift their hands, sing praises, and bow their knees before the King.
May this remind us that Christianity was never built on convenience.
The early church did not have luxury buildings, the disciples did not have comfort and security and many believers throughout history worshiped Jesus while facing suffering and persecution.
The question is not, “How comfortable is my worship?” The question is, “How worthy is my God?”
May we return to a place where our love for Jesus is greater than our desire for comfort. May we learn from our persecuted brothers and sisters who show us that when Christ is our treasure, nothing can stop true worship.
Because a heart fully surrendered to God can worship Him anywhere... in a grand cathedral, in a small room, or on a bare floor.
Jesus is worthy...
..Always ❤️🔥
