On ๐ƒ๐š๐ฒ ๐Ÿ‘, before the resumption of the business session, a bible study on the verses that inspired the convention theme was led and facilitated by Ma'am Valentina Attolba, PhD. She is the current Diocesan ECW President and a lay minister from the St. Thomas' Episcopal Parish. In her synthesis, Ma'am Valentina highlights that, "The Church is not merely to seek new converts but to strengthen the faith she (the Church) has. The more she grows, the more she must fortify herself against injustice, corruption, and errors of any kind. Therefore, Perseverance is our response to Mission."

An Educational Input was given by the Rev. Ms. Sunshine Dulnuan, a faculty member of Saint Andrew's Theological Seminary and from the Episcopal Diocese of Central Philippines. Ms. Sunshine's Presentation, entitled, "๐‘๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐ญ: ๐˜›๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜Š๐˜ฉ๐˜ถ๐˜ณ๐˜ค๐˜ฉโ€™๐˜ด ๐˜—๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ด๐˜ฆ๐˜ท๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ค๐˜ฆ ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ ๐˜Œ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜จ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜จ ๐˜™๐˜ฆ๐˜ข๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฆ๐˜ด" aimed in further engaging the Bishop's Charge and Address during the Opening Service wherein Bishop Hilary noted the need to review how the diocese views and does mission in these contemporary times. The Convention Eucharist was presided over by The Very Rev. Magno Bawalan, Rural Dean of Rolling Hills Deanery. The Preacher was the Rev. Way-yaan Apil.

In His preaching, Rev. Way-yaan reflected on three main points about the Convention Theme.:
1. Mission will always have challenges: external and internal.
2. Perseverance is proof of true faith. Blessed is the man who perseveres even persecuted. He will receive the crown of life as promised (James 1:12).
3. God gives strength to those who continue missions. We do trust ourselves fully, but the grace that God will suffice. Galatians 6:9 Paul calls us not to stop doing good things. Time comes for plenty of harvest if we do not stop doing good things.

The Santos Women Weavers Association (SSWA) recently gathered for two important events that strengthened their unity and renewed their mission as a weaving community.

During the sessions, members revisited their history, discussed production and market challenges, and explored a partnership approach with independent weavers. This new direction aims to unify quality standards, improve market access, and expand opportunities for all.
