CALLED TO SERVE

We are honored to introduce our new Altar Server Officers for the term 2026–2028—called to lead with faith, serve with humility, and grow together in His presence.

With faith in our hearts and service as our mission, we step forward together—ready to lead, serve, and grow in His presence. Marked by faith, responsibility, and dedication to the ministry, we commit ourselves to serving with purpose, humility, and a faithful heart in every duty entrusted to us.

We heard you!
FUND RAISING FOR THE LANGBISAN SIBLINGS

We sincerely acknowledge and appreciate the concerns expressed regarding the fundraising efforts for the Langbisan siblings.

We wish to clarify that the Fun Walk will proceed as scheduled, as it is a previously planned activity of St. William’s Cathedral with a distinct purpose: to foster community participation while conducting our Clean-Up Drive. For this reason, the activity cannot be postponed or cancelled.

In response to the urgent medical needs of Christopher and Blessy Langbisan, the Cathedral is opening a separate fundraising initiative. This allows those who may not be participating in the Fun Walk to still extend their generosity and support to the siblings through voluntary donations at the Cathedral.

Although these are two separate initiatives, they share a common mission—to serve our community with compassion, solidarity, and Christian charity. We believe that every individual can participate in this mission in different ways, whether by joining the Fun Walk, supporting the fundraising campaign, or keeping the family in prayer.

We humbly ask for your understanding, continued support, and prayers as we carry out both activities in the spirit of faith and service.

Congratulations to the Newly Installed Knights of the Altar Officers!

The Knights of the Altar welcomes their newly elected officers for the term 2026-2028. The newly elected officers were officially installed during the 6th Mass on Sunday, July 5, 2026, presided over by Rev. Fr. Romeo Dawaton. The installation and blessing of the officers were subsequently led by Rev. Fr. Melture D. Pasado, formally entrusting them with their responsibilities as leaders of the ministry.

The celebration marked the beginning of a new chapter of service, as the officers accepted their duties with a commitment to lead through faith, humility, responsibility, and dedication. Their installation serves as a reminder of their mission to faithfully serve God, the Church, and their fellow altar servers.

Congratulations once again to all the newly installed Knights of the Altar Officers. May the Lord continue to guide and bless you throughout your journey of service.

Deo Gratias!

The Knights of the Altar Ministry of Saint William’s Cathedral held it’s long awaited election of officers on the year of our Lord June 27 2026.

With the appointment in the office of the Beadle and Liturgist, the ministry chose from it’s members to lead and carry on the embers of our traditions and service.

With the advisers and parish priest present in the election, the ministry hears the first message of it’s Beadle-the highest privilege a Altar Sever can receive within the ministry due to him leading his brothers and sisters in Christ towards the service and sacrifice they have chosen.

He Emphasized that the ministry can not be successful in exercising it’s role if they are not to be united and they should be focused on putting Christ first in their livelihoods as teens and as Altar Servers.

The members of the ministry that were voted, gave their thanks and pledged to lead the ministry in faith and trust.

The former Beadle left a message of thanks to all Altar Servers, to the parish priest-Fr. Melture D. Pasado, the parish secretary- Maam Avigail Calwing and advisers for their unwavering support during his 2 year term, he also offered his fealty and confidence to the current Beadle and officers.

Effective this July 1 2026, the new officers are to exercise their offices and purpose leading the ministry into greater heights.
