🌸 A Look Back at May 🌸

What a wonderful and blessed month of May! Throughout this month, our Sunday School learners experienced meaningful activities that helped them grow in faith, love, and service to God. We celebrated Mother's Day with a heartfelt program where our children wrote and read letters for their mothers, expressing their love and gratitude. Aside from sharing their letters, they also presented special performances through role-playing and dance numbers, bringing joy and encouragement to everyone who watched. We were also blessed by our devotion from Isaiah 44:9–20, reminding us to worship the one true God and avoid putting our trust in idols. In addition, our Sunday School learners confidently recited and presented their memory verse from Isaiah 44:6, declaring that the Lord alone is God.

As we closed the month, we joyfully celebrated the birthdays of our beloved Sunday School teacher and learners, with fun games and activities that made the celebration even more joyful and memorable for our birthday celebrants. We also recognized those who faithfully attended Sunday School through our Perfect Attendance Awarding Ceremony. We thank God for His guidance, protection, and countless blessings throughout May. To all our teachers, parents, and Sunday School learners, thank you for your love, participation, and dedication. May we continue to grow in God's Word, strengthen our faith, and shine for His glory in the months ahead.

EQUIPPING STORYTELLERS FOR CHRIST ✨📖

Some of our Sunday School teachers from Tabaco and Donsol attended a Storytelling Seminar to enhance their skills in teaching God's Word to children.

The seminar reminded us that storytelling is more than simply telling a story—it involves gestures, coordination, creativity, and passion. Effective storytelling helps children develop their language skills, imagination, critical thinking, and love for God's Word.

Our AFC Sunday School teachers also received free guidebooks to help improve the flow of lessons, activities, and classroom engagement.

As Hebrews 4:12 reminds us, God's Word is living and active. May we continue to teach it in ways that inspire children to listen, imagine, learn, and grow in faith.🙏✨️

🌞🐰 Easter Fun at Sunday School! 🐰🌞

What a sunny, joyful day we had celebrating Easter with our kids! Our little bunnies hopped around with their bunny headbands, laughing and searching high and low for over 150 colorful eggs hidden all over. 🥚💛

The excitement was contagious! As the kids found each egg, they also discovered fun facts and trivia about Jesus’ life, learning about His miracles, His teachings, and the love He showed for everyone. It was amazing to see them engage, learn, and laugh all at the same time.

Even though the sun was shining bright, the kids’ energy never ran out! Every egg found brought smiles, cheers, and a little lesson about the true meaning of Easter. 🌷✨

A huge thank you to all the teachers and youth volunteers who helped prepare for our Easter celebration! From making colorful baskets, crafting cute bunny headbands, to setting up everything to make the day so fun and beautiful, your hard work truly made a difference. 🌸💛

Here’s to more memories, more learning, and more fun in the name of Jesus! 🐣💖

What an amazing afternoon last April 2! 🌟 The kids and youth gathered together to watch "Son of God", a film showing the life of Jesus before His crucifixion. Some already knew His story, but most were curious and wide-eyed, discovering the depth of His love and sacrifice for the very first time ✨

It was heartwarming to see them so focused, asking questions, and reflecting on what Jesus went through for all of us. 💛

Moments like these remind us that sharing His story with the next generation brings hope, faith, and inspiration that lasts. 🙌

Thank you to everyone who joined and made this celebration of Easter meaningful. Let’s continue to walk in His light and share His love every day! ??💖

Almost the end of February, and here are some of the activities we had to celebrate this Month of Love ❤️💖

From teaching the kids about God’s love 🙏✨ to creating crafts to share with their loved ones 🎨💌, every moment was meaningful and fun. They also joyfully performed a dance presentation 💃🕺 and enjoyed the photo booth 📸😍.

We also celebrated the birthday of one of our Sunday Schoolers 🎂🎉 by singing songs 🎶, sharing messages 💬, and giving simple gifts and cupcakes 🧁🎁. It was simple, yet it truly fulfilled a child’s heart. 💕
Afterward, they enjoyed playing games outside 🏃‍♂️🌤️, while others made simple art for Ash Wednesday ✝️🖌️, reminding them to reflect on their mistakes, ask for forgiveness 🙏, and strive to become better kids each day. 💜✨

New Year, New Learnings 📚✨️
The year began with our kids growing deeper in their knowledge of God—learning that He is all-knowing, all-powerful, and always present ✨🙏 Set B also started their devotion from 2 Corinthians 5:17 📖, reminding them about becoming new in Christ.

On the second week, the kids expressed their hopes and dreams for their 2026 journey through coloring activities 🎨💭. At the same time, our Sunday School Teachers-in-Training began assisting during classes, gaining hands-on experience 👩‍🏫🤍.

By the third week, our little Sunday Schoolers shared their joy through a short dance presentation 💃🕺, while others continued with their devotion time.

Last Sunday of the month was extra special as the kids joyfully celebrated the birthday of Teacher Ara and one of our Sunday Schoolers 🥳🎂. They shared sweet wishes messages for Teacher Ara 💌. Afterward, Set A enjoyed fun games, while Set B listened to a short devotion about Obedience, Respect, and Humility- Proverbs 22:4 🙏📝.

Wrapping up the year with grateful hearts, laughter, and unforgettable December memories 🎄🎉✨

During the first week, the kids joyfully helped clean the church and decorate their Sunday School room 🧹🎨 This reminded us that even small hands can serve God with big hearts ❤️🙌

On the second Sunday, the kids made their DIY Christmas trees 🎄✂️ and practiced for their Christmas dance presentation 🎶💃🕺, filling the room with excitement and laughter.

On the third Sunday, they attentively listened to the story of the birth of Jesus 👶✨ and recited their memory verses in front of everyone 📖🌟.

On the last Sunday of the month, the Sunday Schoolers had a short devotion and shared how they celebrate Christmas at home 🎁❤️. Afterward, they enjoyed fun games then proceed to the awardings of perfect attendance and outstanding sunday schoolers.🏅🎉.

Indeed, December was filled with learning, joy, and love as we celebrated the true meaning of Christmas ✨🙏

✨ Sunday School Recognition Day 2025 ✨

Today, we celebrated more than awards — we celebrated faithfulness, obedience, and growth in our little ones. Each certificate given represents effort, consistency, and a heart that chooses to show up and learn about God every Sunday.

We are so proud of all our Sunday School students for their dedication, joy, and willingness to grow in faith. Whether recognized today or not, each child is a blessing and a reminder that God is working in their lives in beautiful ways.

To our awardees, congratulations! And to all our children, keep shining, keep learning, and keep walking with the Lord. 💛
