Who is this man? The next verses says: [26]Jesus, then, is the High Priest that meets our needs. He is holy; he has no fault or sin in him; he has been set apart from sinners and raised above the heavens. [27]He is not like other high priests; he does not need to offer sacrifices every day for his own sins first and then for the sins of the people. He offered one sacrifice, once and for all, when he offered himself. And now we have Him on the right side of God, making ways for the sons and daughters who call upon His name.

Ever heard of the notion "TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE?" For it's like that, God's love for us is too good to be true indeed. All what's left for us to do to have access to His Kingdom is for us to confess that He is God and believe that He lived as a man, died on the cross, and resurrected after three days! It is not our good works that can save us, it is only through Jesus Christ that salvation can be found.

As we already know, human efforts alone cannot ensure salvation. We may be like the rich young man on this chapter, but like him, we can never assure that we will receive eternal life. But for the grace of God, impossible is made possible. salvation is attainable through God’s grace.

When the Holy Spirit came unto the disciples of Jesus Christ, they were able to utter different languages as if it was their mother tongue. The Holy Spirit worked not only on the disciples lives but also to the 3,000 people who were able to hear the Good News of the Lord that very day. In this passage, Peter outlined the steps of living a transformed life through Jesus: Repentance, Baptism, Forgiveness, and Fellowship.
