A Historic Milestone for the 𝐈𝐆𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐈𝐀 𝐅𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐀 𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄 – 𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐀𝐎 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐘
On September 26, 2025, during the Academic and Organizational Engagements Day, the Iglesia Filipina Independiente–Student Youth Ministry (IFI-SYM) was officially approved and recognized as an accredited organization at Surigao del Norte State University–Main Campus. The officers were also inducted into office to lead the organization for Academic Year 2025–2026. This accreditation marks the fulfillment of a year-long journey of waiting and perseverance.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all who made this remarkable achievement possible:
• To 𝐌𝐫. 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐬𝐮𝐧 𝐆𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐨, President of the organization — for your tireless dedication, determination, and strong leadership.
• To 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐀𝐲𝐞𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐄𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥, Secretary — for your perseverance and hard work in processing and completing the documents that led us to this success.
• To 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐅𝐈-𝐒𝐘𝐌 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐍𝐒𝐔–𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 — whose presence, loyalty, and active participation made this journey meaningful. This victory is yours as much as it is ours.
• To 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐅𝐈-𝐒𝐘𝐌 — for your courage to lead, for standing beside the president and secretary in this journey, and for your commitment not only during the accreditation process but also in the greater mission that lies ahead. Your willingness to serve and guide the youth is truly inspiring.
• To 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐅𝐞 𝐂. 𝐆𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚 and 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐄𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐆𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐟 𝐏. 𝐒𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐠 — for your precious lessons and processing guidance.
• To 𝐌𝐫. 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐨, President of the Diocesan Youth Officers of IFI–Diocese of Surigao — for your solidarity and prayers.
• To 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐧 our adviser — for your invaluable guidance, wisdom, and unwavering encouragement.
• And with utmost respect, to the 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐝. 𝐑𝐡𝐞𝐞 𝐌. 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠, former Obispo Maximo and Bishop of the Diocese of Surigao — for inspiring and supporting the creation of this organization. Thank you, Your Eminence.
Along with this recognition, we extend our invitation to our fellow 𝐃𝐢𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 in nearby dioceses to encourage and exhort our young members to be part of our school organization’s activities and events. To our parents, we are ever grateful for your continual support—𝒃𝒊𝒔𝒂𝒏 𝒋𝒂𝒓𝒊 𝒏𝒂 𝒌𝒂𝒎𝒊 𝒔𝒂 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝒋𝒂𝒓𝒊 𝒈𝒊𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒊𝒎𝒃𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒏.
As our organization begins, so too does our love and service grow.
