“𝑰𝒏 𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝑮𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌𝒔”: 𝑻𝒖𝒃𝒐𝒅 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝑾𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏 𝑶𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝑮𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒏 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚

Women officers from the Primary, Young Women, and Relief Society made history in the Tubod Philippines Stake as they came together for the first-ever year-end gathering of women leaders. Anchored in the scriptural passage “In everything, give thanks” (1 Thessalonians 5:18), the activity was filled with a spirit of gratitude, unity, and Christlike ministering. The program reflected the Church’s emphasis on the vital role of women in serving and helping build the kingdom of God on earth and in recognizing their faithful service.

The gathering was presided over by Stake President Norman D. Dolorfino and conducted by Sister Ritchelle L. Mabelin-Buque, Stake Young Women President. The program included a reverent recitation of the Articles of Faith led by Sister Fatima Cupag, followed by the Young Women Theme and Motto recited by Sister Lovely Rose Veterbo, Stake Young Women Second Counselor, and the Relief Society Declaration. These inspired reminders emphasized individual worth, divine identity, and lifelong discipleship.

The program highlighted the importance of each auxiliary in strengthening the Lord’s Church. Presentations and activities facilitated by the Stake Primary, Young Women, and Relief Society Presidencies fostered unity, joy, and meaningful interaction among the sisters.

Excitement filled the gathering during the raffle draws prepared by the stake officers, highlighted by a ₱1,000 grand prize won by Sister Marianita Licerio of Matin-ao Branch, made possible through an on-the-spot sponsorship. The sisters were further delighted by a White Elephant gift exchange, adding to the joyful and festive atmosphere. These activities symbolized generosity and gratitude—simple expressions of love that strengthened bonds among the women of the Tubod Philippines Stake.

This meaningful activity served as an avenue for hearts to be knit together in unity and charity, contributing to the creation of Zion within the stake.

President Narciso, concluded the activity, he encouraged the women of the Church to continue living lives of gratitude, service, and faith, carrying the Spirit of the gathering into their homes and daily callings.

The gathering stood as a beautiful reminder that as disciples of Jesus Christ, gratitude is not merely an expression but a way of life—one that deepens conversion, strengthens relationships, and builds the Lord’s Church.

𝑻𝙪𝒃𝙤𝒅 𝑷𝙝𝒊𝙡𝒊𝙥𝒑𝙞𝒏𝙚𝒔 𝑺𝙩𝒂𝙠𝒆 𝑯𝙤𝒍𝙙𝒔 𝑱𝙤𝒚𝙛𝒖𝙡 𝙔𝒐𝙪𝒏𝙜 𝙎𝒊𝙣𝒈𝙡𝒆 𝑨𝙙𝒖𝙡𝒕 𝑪𝙝𝒓𝙞𝒔𝙩𝒎𝙖𝒔 𝑮𝙖𝒕𝙝𝒆𝙧𝒊𝙣𝒈

The Young Single Adults of the Tubod Philippines Stake gathered in a spirit of joy, unity, and celebration during their Christmas Gathering. The activity provided an uplifting opportunity for YSAs from different wards and branches to strengthen fellowship and reflect on the true meaning of the Christmas season.

The gathering was presided over by Stake President Norman D. Dolorfino, whose presence set a reverent and encouraging tone for the activity. Also present was President Rodulfo K. Narciso, Second Counselor in the Stake Presidency, who shared an inspiring lesson centered on the birth of Jesus Christ. He emphasized the Savior’s humble beginnings and taught how the message of Christ’s birth remains deeply relevant in our lives today—reminding the young adults to live with faith, hope, love, and obedience as true disciples of the Savior.

Following the spiritual message, the program continued with various presentations from the wards and branches across the stake. Each group shared talents through song, dance, and creative performances, adding warmth and excitement to the celebration while showcasing unity and diversity among the YSAs.

The second part of the activity focused on games and group activities, where the YSAs were divided into six groups. Laughter and friendly competition filled the venue as participants enjoyed the games thoughtfully prepared by the YSA representatives. These activities fostered teamwork, camaraderie, and joyful interaction among the young adults.

After the games, everyone took part in an exchange gift, a simple yet meaningful moment that reflected the spirit of giving and love that Christmas represents.

To conclude the gathering, President Norman D. Dolorfino delivered a heartfelt closing message. He emphasized the purpose and role of the Young Single Adults in the Tubod Stake, reminding them of their potential to lead, serve, and bless others. He echoed the message taught by Elder M. Russell Ballard, describing YSAs as “The Greatest Generation of Young Adults,” called to stand firm in faith and righteousness in these latter days.

The Christmas Gathering ended with grateful hearts, strengthened testimonies, and renewed commitment among the Young Single Adults to follow Jesus Christ, support one another, and continue building strong fellowship within the Tubod Philippines Stake.

𝑻𝒖𝒃𝒐𝒅 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 “𝑾𝒉𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒎𝒂𝒔" 𝑩𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒔𝒎 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏

As the year came to a close, the Tubod Philippines Stake marked the Christmas season with a sacred “White Christmas” Stake Baptism, reflecting unity, faith, and devoted service in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and inviting all to come unto Him.

The baptismal service welcomed seventeen (17) new members from Bad-as Ward (4), Placer Ward (4), Bacuag Branch (1), Claver Branch (1), Mainit Branch (1), Matin-ao Branch (2), Tubod Ward (1), and Kitcharao Ward (3), along with six (6) children of record. The Spirit was strongly felt as candidates bore sincere testimonies of their faith in Jesus Christ. Among those who shared were Brother Jeramil Deneiga of Bad-as Ward, Sister Riza Erezo of Placer Ward, and Sister Angelo Yubos of Matin-ao Branch, whose testimonies reflected their desire to follow the Savior and begin their covenant journey.

The baptism was presided over by Stake President Norman D. Dolorfino, with Brother Matthew James Miague, Stake High Council assigned to missionary work, conducting the program. Full-time missionaries and members worked together in love and unity to help bring souls unto Christ and guide them along the covenant path.

Following the baptism, members and leaders presented a roadshow entitled “The First Christmas: The Nativity.” Through music, narration, and portrayal, the presentation brought to life the sacred events surrounding the Savior’s birth: the promise of the Savior (Mainit Branch), the Annunciation of Mary (Tubod Ward), Joseph’s dream (Kitcharao Ward), the journey to Bethlehem (Placer Ward), no room in the inn (Matin-ao Branch), the miracle of the Savior’s birth (Bad-as Ward), the angels’ proclamation (Bacuag Branch), the shepherds’ visit (Claver Branch), the visit of the Wise Men (Stake Officers), and the "Light of the World" (Alegria Ward).

Each ward and branch participated, culminating in a powerful testimony of Jesus Christ as the Light of the World.

The Stake Presidency—President Norman Dolorfino, President Ronald Kapunan, and President Rodulfo K. Narciso—took part in the presentation as the Three Wise Men, adding a meaningful and symbolic highlight to the event.

In appreciation of their efforts and dedication, each participating unit received a Certificate of Commendation, presented by Sister Julene Taro, Stake Family History Consultant.

This Christ-centered celebration reminded the Saints that the true essence of Christmas is found in Jesus Christ—the promised Savior, who brings joy, peace, and everlasting love.

For the Tubod Philippines Stake, December continues to be a cherished season not only to commemorate the Savior’s birth but also to follow His example by coming unto Christ, entering the waters of baptism, and walking the covenant path.

It is the calm that settles the soul when life feels overwhelming, the steadying whisper that reminds us we are never alone. True peace is a divine gift, given by the Savior to all who seek Him.

This video shows how the Saints of Kitcharao have found that peace in Him. Though life brings challenges, His presence brings stillness. Though trials press upon us, His love softens the weight. As we trust in the Prince of Peace, our hearts become anchored, our minds become clear, and our homes become sanctuaries of His light.
