Ø 2. Inflation/Cost of Living

Ø 3. Poverty and Social Inequality

Ø 4. Unemployment

Ø 5.Financial/Political Corruption

Ø 6. Immigration Control

Ø 7.Military Conflict

Ø 8. Climate Change

What are ‘your’ worries?

A. Physical Needs: Worrying about what to eat, drink, or wear.

B. The Future: Fear of upcoming events, danger, or the unknown.

C. Control: Attempting to manage things outside of one's control.

D. Lack of Faith: Rooted in doubting God's power and care

Ø What are the causes of all these worries?

Ø Fixation on Worldly Things

Ø Fear of the Future/Control

Ø Unconfessed Sin

Ø Satanic Influence

Ø Lack of Faith/Trust in God

Ø How to overcome worries? TRUST GOD!!!

T- TRUTH (cling to truth)– trusting God is the foundation of truth, source of peace, strength and direction (Jer 17:7-8; Isa 26:3)

R- REVERENCE TO GOD worship God with reverence

U- UNWAVERING or steadfast trust (Heb 10:23, Cor 15:58, Romans 4:20)

S- SELF DENIAL (deny yourself) Matt 16:24, Mark 8:34, Luke 9:23

T – THANKFUL – 1 Thes 5:18

Ø How to trust God?

1. Lean Not on Your Own Understanding: Actively surrender your need for control, acknowledging God in all areas of life (Proverbs 3:5-6).

2. Root Faith in God’s Character: Trust that God is a loving Father who works all things for good, rather than basing your security on shifting circumstances (Rom 8:28, Matt 7:9-11).

3. Shift from Anxiety to Prayer Replace worry with prayer and gratitude, which demonstrates dependence on God (Philippians 4:6-7, 1 Peter 5:7).

4. Act in Obedience: True trust requires stepping out in faith, even when you cannot see the full picture

5. Wait on the Lord's Timing: Patiently rely on God’s perfect timing rather than rushing ahead out of fear or impatience

6. Use Scripture to Fight Doubt Combat worry and doubt by meditating on God's promises and remembering His past faithfulness.

Ø Practical Application

a. Shift Focus from Results to Faith

b. Move from Self-Reliance to God- Dependence

c. View People as Vessels, not Sources

d. Let Go of Fear

Ø What are benefits in trusting God?

o Peace and Emotional Relief

o Security and Protection

o Guidance and Direction

o Strength in Adversity

o Hope and Contentment

o Freedom from Regret

Ø Conclusion:

God provides "perfect peace" to those who keep their minds fixed on Him and trust in Him, not as an absence of trouble, but as a deep, unwavering security that surpasses understanding, rooted in reliance on God's character and promises, even amidst life's difficulties. (Isaiah 26:3)

TAKOS IKAW O GINOO SA PAGDAWAT SA PAGDAYEG UG PAGPASALAMAT.
Pinadayag 5:9-13

1. GRASYA SA KALUWASAN
2. PAGPADAYAG SA KAMATOURAN.
3. NAG-AWAS-AWAS NGA GRASYA SA DIOS.
4. MGA ESPIRITOHANONG PANALANGIN
5. PAGTABAGBO SA TANAN TANG PANGINAHANGLANON.
6. PAGLIG-ON NIYA KANUNAY KANATO
7. PAGBANTAY NIYA KANUNAY NGA DILI KITA MAPUKAN.

I. GRASYA SA KALUWASAN. Gal. 1:3-5

Amen.

III. NAG-AWAS-AWAS NGA GRASYA SA DIOS.
1 TIMOTEO 1:12-17 ABCEB

Amen.

VI. NAGLIG-ON SIYA KANUNAY KANATO
2 TIMOTEO 4:16-18 ABCEB
Amen.

VII. NAGBANTAY SIYA KANUNAY NGA DILI KITA MAPUKAN.
JUDAS 1:24-25 ABCEB
Amen.

CONCLUSION:
PINADAYAG 4:11 ABCEB
[11] “Takos ikaw, O among Ginoo ug Dios, sa pagdawat sa himaya ug dungog ug gahom, kay ikaw mao man ang nagbuhat sa tanang butang, ug pinaagi sa imong kabubut-on mitungha ug nangahimo ang tanan.”

DEMONSTRATE YOUR LOVE
Luke 7:36-50

God's love was demonstrated by giving His only begotten son. Romans 5:6-11
In this story the forgiven sinner demonstrated her love to Jesus

Jesus the invited guest
Pharisee the host of the banquet
Sinful woman - the uninvited guest

A. The sinful woman's action
She wept with tears and wiped Jesus’ feet with her hair, kissed his feet, and anointed his feet with the perfume.
This is an amazing act of love, worship, gratitude and an act of humility.
The woman does not care what prople say.

B. The pharissee reaction.
If this man were a prophet, he would have known who and what sort of woman this is who is touching him, for she is sinner.”

Life lesson.

2. Have you invited Jesus to come into your life wholeheartedly?
3. The uninvited sinful woman came not for food but to worship Jesus.
*When was the last time you seek Jesus with tears?
*When was the last time you feel God's presence in worship and prayer?
*How many times the word of God cuts your heart that you received it in tears.
4. The woman does not fear of people's reactions.
*Do you have fear in raising your hands, Jump, clap, shouting amen or praise the Lord or shedding tears in worshiping Jesus?
*Have you given the best freewill offering for the Lord?
5. The woman is expressive on her love for Jesus.
6. The pharisees criticized Jesus for allowing the woman to touch him.
*Do you criticized someone weeping, shouting before the Lord in worship, prayer and praise?

Two debtors.
Debt of 500 denari
Debt of 50 denari.
1 Denarius is 1 day labor wages
They could not pay
They were freely forgiven by the moneylender.
Jesus asked? Who will love the moneylender more?
The pharisees replied 'the one with greater debt will love him more'. Exact answer
