It’s easy to shine in the things that are seen—in the way we speak, in what we know, in how strongly we believe. These are the parts of us people applaud, the parts that feel like proof that we’re growing.

But this verse gently shifts the focus. It reminds us that true excellence isn’t just found in what is impressive, but in what is quietly given.

To give—to offer your time, your energy, your heart—is a different kind of strength. It doesn’t demand attention, yet it reveals the depth of who you are.

Because anyone can develop skill, but generosity reflects the soul. So if you are striving to grow, don’t stop at what is visible. Let your life be excellent not only in talent, but in grace—not only in what you achieve, but in what you freely give.

True generosity isn’t about being seen, it’s about being sincere. It’s not a show for people’s applause, but a quiet act of love rooted in a desire to honor God above all. In every act of giving, let us always remember who it is truly for. Type AMEN if you want to be a channel of blessing to someone else today.

𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲

Last Sunday, Pastor Renz reminded us that generosity is a reflection of the heart and a culture of heaven. It is something that God not only commanded but also modeled by giving Jesus to us. The story of the widow’s offering challenged us to see generosity the way God sees it.

𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒐𝒏𝒆'𝒔 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕
This reminds us that God looks beyond what we give. Our motives matter more than the amount, for God sees the giver before the gift.

𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒏𝒐𝒊𝒔𝒚
Giving isn’t something we do to impress people or gain recognition. It is an act of worship that seeks God’s approval, grounded in His word, not man’s applause.

𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒂𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍
Generosity often costs something. It may not look big to others, but when it costs us something, it matters to God.

𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒃𝒚 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉
This reminded us that when we give, we trust God as our provider. Generosity is faith in action –believing God will always take care of us.

Let our generosity reflects the heart of Jesus—intentional, sacrificial, and full of faith.

✨ Youth Fellowship Today! ✨

Today’s the day we come together—not just to gather, but to grow, connect, and encounter something greater than ourselves.

Whether you’ve been here before or it’s your first time, you’re already welcome. Bring your friends, bring your stories, bring your questions—there’s a place for you here.

Don’t miss it. See you later this 3PM! 🙌

Sunday isn’t just another day—it’s a moment to realign.

In a world that pulls us in every direction, this is where we pause, refocus, and remember who God is—and who we are in Him. No pressure to have it all together, no need to pretend. Just come as you are and meet Him right where you’re at.

If your week has been heavy, let this be your reset. If it’s been good, come and give thanks. Either way, there’s something waiting for you here.

Join us this Sunday at New Life Surigao.🤍

Colossians 3:23–24 reminds us who we are really working for. It is easy to lose sight of that and get caught up in the work itself, like the older brother in the story of the Prodigal Son. What he was doing was not wrong. In many ways, it was right. But his heart was not aligned with the father, and that left him distant. In the same way, we can be doing good and still feel disconnected from God if it is not truly for Him. So whatever we do, we do it for the Lord. The reward He gives is not something to chase or take pride in, but something to receive with humility and gratitude. It reminds us that everything comes from Him, and that alone is enough.

Have you ever thought about how your life might change if you cared for your heart the same way you care for a garden? You water it in the morning, ensure it gets enough sunlight without overdoing it, have you ever considered applying the same care to our hearts? This is our reminder to do so.
